Movies to Keep You Up at Night

Where can I go to rent these movies? Even netflix doesn’t have them.
They’re pretty tough to find. I’d be surprised if you could find rentals for them anywhere, to be honest.

I have to warn you, though, if you end up finding them, the August Underground movies are really quite extreme. Knowing you I’m sure you’re fine with it, though. ;)
I sought for the August Underground movies because I heard about them.
I found them quickly. After a minute I closed the window.

It s disgusting. I knew if I´d watch it, I´d be angry for days or maybe weeks. The thing is there are such people out there. It happens all the time.
Such movies show the low quality of most people and leave me wanting to punish evil persons.
I meet a considerable amount of evil people at work and if I don´t control my anger, I might loose my white vest, which would put an end to the career I am pursuing.

I generally don´t like torture movies, especially if they ve got nothing to offer but violence.
It´s not because I can´t stand violence it is because of the issue explained above.
Further, all the screaming just annoys me.
They don´t scare me at all.
The saw movies were a bit interesting because they have a complex plot and there are always reasons provided for the torture.
There are no innocent victims. People think ok they´re bad, they don´t deserve to be killed but still they deserve punishment.
This diminishes the compassion.

Hostel movies in contrast depict the torture of innocent people, do not have anything special but intense violence and hence, are enormously annoying.
Based on the recommendation I´ve read, I just watched martyrs.
I think after the shootout scene, there was nothing worth watching in that piece of crap.
That scene was great though.
She was consequent, relentless and determined. Nice to watch.
The rest of it quickly turned incredibly stupid. WTF it was ludicrous.

It was mentioned that a distinctive feature of this kind of movie consists of twists and abandoning of usual rules.
Nevertheless if someone who tortures other people for fun simply gets away it´s annoying.
They should get run over by a car, shot or otherwise punished.
The movie funny games was just sad and annoying. A better solution would be if she takes at least one of them with her. It ´s not even surprising usually because you can already see the nastiest most annoying movies usually leave the bad guys unharmed (and leave me angry).

Hah! “Now for the approval of the midnight society…” I loved that show.
Growing up TV was so cool a typical week’s viewing was something like…

Tales From The Crypt
Tales From The Darkside
The Hitchhiker
Are you Afraid of The Dark?
Monsters
Outer Limits

…among other non-scary shows.
So true. There was some great scary shit on. I love “Are you afraid of the dark.”

“Silence of the Lambs”. I had to sleep over at my gf’s house that night if only for the sole reason that I was scared to sleep alone. “The Blair Witch Project” made me afraid of the basement where I had to do laundry. It was a huge old house that was turned into small apartments. And last, a movie that wasn’t scarey but made me think a lot, “Let the Right One In”

You won’t fall asleep that night…especially if your wife is home.
Low budget ($7,000) made millions
DUMBEST MOVIE EVERRRR!!

Seriously…that shit sucked.

Good idea, but terribly stupid.

Paranormal Activity scared the crap outta me. But i’m into stuff like that. Ghost Hunters, Creepy Canada, and Scariest Places on Earth are my favorite shows!

CREEPY CANADA?!? I love those paranormal shows (even though I’m a sketpic) … with Ghost Hunters being the standard how does Creepy Canada rate?

It’s a different style, more of a documentary type deal. I think i like it because i know a lot of the places they visit.

Scariest Places on Earth has always been my favorite, and Ghost Hunters is a close second.

i never denied being a dork.

BUT let me tell you the reason i added Joe. Because of this one episode where he was sitting in Satan’s Office, and he sat in the chair, the look on his face was priceless. his eyes were huge and his mouth was hanging open. like sitting in that chair scared the living daylights out of him.

and i thought to myself, sheri, this guy looks comical, add him to your facebook.

The original “Last house on the left.” Some disturbing scenes in that summbitch.

Oh & Toy Story.

Toy Story… unless you’re talking about an actual horror film… that little doll head with no hair and the mechanical spider legs… that’s a creature i could have gone without seeing.

i realize it was a friendly doll… and i shouldnt judge it by its appearance, but if i saw it in real life i’d kick it as hard as i could.

You know what’s a good one? The Collector.
It’s just a really hardcore fucked up movie, I think it’s the movie SAW wants to be when it grows up.
