Movie That Made You Cry

Land Before Time

When littlefoot chases his shadow and thought it was his mom.

The first 15 minutes of the most recent Star Trek movie.

Nope, not kidding. I didn’t ‘cry’ but I got pretty teary-eyed. The same thing happened the second time I watched it.

I dont usually get emotional during movies but Ive felt bad alot, cast away was a good example…Wilson was his only friend :frowning:
Remember the scene when hes making fire and cuts his hand open. I laughed for hours.

Ive never actually cried during a movie, unless im choking from later that is.

Same here, DB.
I was in a sort of lowly trance for 3 days reading it. I eagerly await the film release.

I bought guns after reading The Road.

The last couple paragraphs got me a little teary too.

Edit: The movie didn’t affect me that much.

I will agree.

I just remembered Air Bud made me cry when I was little. I don’t remember the scene, though. I just remember burying my head in the couch so no one knew I was crying. Smooth.

United 93. At the end, when they’re trying to take the plane back, but they’ve gone into a nosedive and you can see the ground rushing up towards the plane, and then the screen just goes black . . .

i love you!

One million dollar babe, for christ sake, clint eastwood knows how to make men cry

Bambi.

Gran Torino… I swear to God, I saw that movie in theaters and had to fight back the tears super hard.

Not a movie exactly but the Death of Joe Cole by Henry Rollins is pretty intense.

Part 2 can be found on the link from youtube.

Homeward Bound. 2 lost pets find their way home, going to each of the kids they belong to. The last kid gets sad his dog didn’t show…but just over the ridge, the last dog finally appears.

Sorry, it’s getting dusty in here…

Armageddon

“The Road” was pretty traumatizing for me, having a 9 month old son so many thoughts racing through my head how to keep my family intact if shit like that really went down… Both book & movie were giving my nightmares & made me sad.

Nearly crying when:

The scene in Top Gun when Goose buys it by hitting the canopy upon punching out & Maverick refuses to let him go to the S&R diver.

The shower room scene in “The Rock” if you could believe it when the whole Seal Team gets smoked & massacred. Damn you Michael Bay…

Dead Poet’s Society

Uh, hate to break these news to you, but The Road already has a film with Viggo Mortensen as the lead character. I read the book also, finished it in two days. I was crushed for like a week afterwards. What a fantastic book.

I was gonna say I don’t cry because of movies (I have gotten chocked up during a couple of movies) but you had to bring this up - I wasn’t bawling but was defintely more than chocked up after watching this movie.
