Movie That Made You Cry

The Fox and The Hound when she leaves him in the woods gets me every sinlge time
Tarzan when Kurchak dies
Million Dollar Baby
(can’t believe no one mentioned Lion King yet)
The Last Samurai, the final battle scene

is this messed up?

i rarely cry at sad movies,(or even family funerals) but i sometimes feel a little bit tearful when a movie is just too awesome. Like the watchmen movie,or when i was a geeky teenager and the lord of the rings movies first came out…

They’ve been mentioned but Rudy when he finally gets in the game, I find myself mentally screaming “go down and hit someone Rudy!!” Marlee and me caught me off guard.

Red October

Edit: i meant October Sky lol

Shawshank Redemption; there are some brutal scenes in that film. The Deer Hunter without a doubt, the ending of The Godfather 3, and of course Schindler’s List.

What, no love for Up?

I shed one manly tear at that really emotional part… I think something about how he finally said goodbye to the house or something.[/quote]

Dude, “Up” gets me too; particularly in the beginning. My G/F is in tears practically the whole way through it, lol. It’s a beautiful movie, IMHO.

“The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” was also very, very sad.

Shrek and possibly during Lost In Translation. That was depressing.

…look, if you haven’t seen Failan, Seth MacFarlane's film debut? A comedy about a man and his Teddy bear - IMDb you simply have no concept of the impact a movie’s ending can have. Or, i’m a softie…

Actually The Watchman also made me cry.

I recently saw Precious. Highly recommendable but a total tear jerker.

Life is Beautiful was a tearjerker for me.
Any movie or book that deals with parents protecting their kids. I read “The Road” and I was depressed for days. Same with “The Lovely Bones”.

SPOILER
I cried outright when her dog dies and she meets him in heaven. Out of all the horror in that book, this passage really got to me.

The Sixth Sense - Grneyes and I watched this recently…um…yeah.

Cool Hand Luke and Kim Kardashian’s sex tape.

The only time I remember getting sad from a movie was Click(terrible movie); the scene where Adam Sandler bitches out Henry Winkler about the coin trick. He looked so sad…
