I’ve never understood this. This doesnt only pertain to movies but all forms of “reviews.”
Why the fuck do people review movies, cd’s, games, software, etc. when whatever the product is is not designed for them?
Today I saw these these two dipshits reviewing movies. One’s a man and the other is a female. The woman is in her late 30’s early 40’s and the man is in his late 40’s early 50’s. They had the nerve to review Jackass 2. I mean seriously. You know you are not going to like it. They movie doesnt appeal and was not made to appeal to you. Why the fuck would they review the movie. Of course they trashed it to shit.
Its like asking a born again christian to review Tupac’s new CD. It doesnt make sense.
Its like these two people just get off on giving a bad review of something. They get off on trashing something to bits.
My Jackass 2 review. Has some funny parts but not as funny as the first. Its more gross than the 1st one thats for damn sure. The stunts in 2 definitely hurt more. If you like Jackass go and see it you wont be dissapointed. If you have some interest matinee it but still see it in the theatre. If you dont have an interest stay the fuck away.

When I was overseas there was nothing to do, so I went to the movie tent to watch this. Wasnt so sure going in to it. But I loved it. For some reason I thought it was an awesome movie. Can be watched with kids, your girlfriend/boyfriend. I was very suprised

Agree. Saw it this afternoon, laughed my ass off. Definitely grosser, not as funny as the original, but still funny as hell. I am surprised that there are not more serious (broken bones, internal injuries) with some of the stunts.
I usually ignore movie reviews as I’m not the artsy-fartsy type looking for a deep meaning or a socially redeeming value in a movie. I want to be entertained.
But then again, I’m the one that can sit through days of Godzilla and Gamera movies…
I’d say the real problem is that the critics usually end up with a holier-than-thou attitude and never manage to put themselves into the correct frame of mind for the material. That or they simply choose the most white-bread idiots they can find so they dont ‘anger’ anyone by saying something dumb or edgy is worth seeing for whatever reason.
They forget that most of what hits the screens isnt geared to be original and unique, its up there to be entertaining and make money by appealing to the largest audience possible.
There’s merit in this type of entertainment, just like theres merit in being original and unique.
Hell, I’d love to be a paid critic. I’ll watch anything and be more than happy to give my opinion. But i’d rather break it down for the various audiences vs. only myself. Thats what I hate. There’s always going to be someone out there that likes what others don’t like. There are light years of difference between a Stanley Kubrick film and a Lloyd Kaufman (Troma) film, but each has merit as a form of visual entertainment and neither should be discounted.
