Most structures aren’t built by architects. Smaller buildings are generally built by builders and larger ones are done as much by engineers as architects.
Then again, I’m an engineer, so I might be biased.
Our buildings are prettier. Like I always say - the Architect in God made Women, the Engineer in God made men.
Women = Non-functional, prone to breakdown, but good to look at.
Men = Functional, little to no breakdown, brilliant innovation (i.e. built in temperature gauge - balls) but not so pretty to look at.[/quote]
Women are very functional, though he did mess up the plumbing layout a bit. Who the hell puts the shitter next to the kitchen?
I have a great engineer joke for this (I??m about to prove my nerddom). This is an old one but a good one.
So a civil engineer, a mechanical engineer and an electrical engineer are arguing over who created the human body.
The mechanical engineer pointed out that it had to be a mechanical engineer because of the bone and muscle structure.
The electrical engineer thought he was wrong because if you look at the nervous system you can obviously see that it was an electrical engineer
And the civil engineer proved they were both wrong. He pointed out that it had to be a civil engineer because no one else would ever put a toxic waste dump through a recreational area.
Stock Brokers and self made Businessmen like richard branson or alan sugar FTW.
Gordon Gekko is my role model : )
But if by productive you mean help humanity as a whole through civil service etc, then i don’t really care.
I’m only interested in becoming rich!.. filthy rich! when im older!
