How about most annoying bands:

guns and roses
ozzy osbourne
black sabbath
and everything along those lines

I cant stand people who can listen to these bands day in and day out for 20 years. WTF. I get sick of a song after the 10th time i hear it. How do people listen to this shit for 20 years and not want to rip their ears off?

You must be joking!

Apparently you have been listening to the wrong Black Sabbath.
No shit … “Ironman” is one of the greatest tuns of all time !!

Most songs from the 80’s.

Nothing is sadder or leaves a person more dated than rocking out to Van Halen, Twisted Sister, or one of them other sucky 80’s bands that constantly repeat the same phrases over and over again. Plus they’re annoying. Get over it. It was 20 years ago. Tight pants still aren’t cool.

BITE ME!

And whats so great about the music scene today?

Growing a faggy scruff beard? “distressed” jeans and t’s?
Who should i be listening to?

311?
the Killers?
Nickelback?
5 for fighting?

Dont waste my time Jr. Theres good music today. But dont go trashing the 80’s…it was a good time.

VH definitely had two faces. The pop one and the hardass rock one. You’ve only seen one of those faces. If you’d ever listened to Atomic Punk, I’m on Fire, Lighting Up the Sky, Fools, Push Comes to Shove, Mean Street, Intruder, One Foot out the Door, Girl Gone Bad, or House of Pain you’d know what I’m talking about.

Download a few of those songs and then come talk to me about genres, sonny.
SH you are 100% right, to compare Van Halen to Twisted Sister is a traversty. As long as DLR was on vocals Van Halen were great. I remember hearing “You’re No Good” for the first time back in '79 and totally freaking out!!! But they were total bollocks with Sammy Hagar on vocals! He brought nothing to the table.

Alright since I have 2 kids, I have to say, only because we have toys that sing this shit - “The Wiggles”

Any thing is better than hearing this shit endlessly…

The Wiggles are terrible, strangley enough, I and my wife dig “The Backyardigans” (and my son loves them).

Excellent choice with Gang Starr! As for 3rd Bass, The Cactus Album was great. Their other album, Derelicts of Dialects; I don’t remember being nearly as good, but it has been a long time since I’ve heard it.

Derelicts of Dialect had Pop Goes the Weasel (one of the best plays on words that I’ve ever seen in a song title), which is what turned me on to them in the 1st place. Kind of prophetic, seeing as how it was written 15 years ago:

Now in ninety-one we got a new brand, a new band
lookin like the same old Klan
Same old theives that skeez so we gotta make sure
that real rap has got to endure
