do you practice pooling? google if not aware of the term.
seems I should definitely start considering my history of cavities and a current one getting taken care of soon.

Peroxide has always been my rinse.
Never considered coconut oil even though I knew of its anti-bacterial properties!

Do you mean “oil pulling”?
ahh, thanks for the correction
yes I do this a few times a week, I just have to remember lol. I was reading a Poliquin article on it and started doing it. I basically take about a tablespoon and swish it around for 2 minutes, and then make sure to rinse out good so you don’t swallow any of the nasties. It’s making my teeth waaay whiter than mouth wash ever has.

You are using coconut oil or the other recommended seed oils?

Psychologically, this sounds rather disgusting to me.
However, if it really works, I might give it a try.
been wanting to try oil pulling for years but i heard it can cause mercury fillings to pop out and i have one and can’t afford to deal with getting it replaced.
I cnn’t imagine how this could happen, almost sounds like a scare tactic. But, I hear ya, wouldn’t want to risk it. Perhaps ask Prof X on here
You basically just swish it around in your mouth right? Or am I missing something…oil pulling soundds like something more than that.
