ME Bench night:

Shoulders felt healthy, but tired from squatting yesterday. Holding 525 in place can do that I guess.

Warms ups, close grip: worked up to 370 x 2. John fucked up my hand off, was gonna go for 3-5, but I lost all tightness.

Three board: 435 x 3, 455 x 3, 475 x 3, last one was fugly, started to drift, kind of french pressed it out.

I was fried. Long day at work, hate training as late as I did.

Military press: 135 x 10, 185 x 10, 225 x 5

Dips bwt x 20, 90 x 15, 135 x 10, x 10, bwt x 30

Done, no gas…

Pissed, thought the 475 was a PR, just went back n looked and it just matched my PRs for triples. Will make up for it over the next two weeks… also, my back and hamstrings were fucked from yesterday, so staying tight was a huge issue, will see how I feel tomorrow about even doing light lat stuff. And I know my MPs suck, these are horrible especially since they were seated. Although I am not the video whore I wish I had tape from a few years ago where I could put up low threes for reps… Glory days…

Feeling a little beat up from the last two days, so went in mainly to get a lat pump:

BB rows 135 x 10, 225 x 10, 275 x 10, 325 x 10, x 10

Pulldowns 220 x 15, 250 x 12, 280 x 12

Pulldowns to abs 3 x 12 @ 250

Low cable rows, hadn’t done these in awhile, 4 sets, worked up to full stack x 12 with overhand grip

reverse curls 3 x 10

cable rope hammer curls 3 x 15

seated calve 4 x 12-15

decline abs w/35 lb plate 4 x 15

Tonight is going to call for ice, foam roller, stretching, and maybe my shiatsu massager. After I get yard work and dog walk out of the way. Sitting at my desk and slowly starting to have the ‘hit by a mack truck’ feeling.

Looking strong as ever. I want to have the ‘mac truck hit me’ feeling too. See what I can do tonight.

DE squat day. 335lb bar weight, 4 prs chains, 13 inch box. OK, I did something by accident here and ran with it. I choked the chains up higher off the ground than normal, so that they were all of the ground with the bar sitting at sternum height in the rack. This made the walk out, and the set up, and the lock out, wayyyy harder:

DE squat 10 sets of 2, 30 seconds rest.

SLDL 135 x 10, 225 x 5, 315 x 5, 405 x 5 (+40 over last week.

Hack squat 360 x 8, 450 x 8, 540 x 6

Hadn’t done these in a while, they were a challenge.

Leg raise 4 sets, bunch o reps

This week has turned into cardio deload week, lol. Maybe I am just pissed that Meat can simply think about losing weight, and drops something like 20 lbs in two weeks, basically just by f!@#ing thinking about it. A@#hole. j/k buddy.

The wife starts her vacation today, so her and I sat up jabberjawing until midnight. 5 a.m. wake up time for cardio wasn’t gonna fly. I will make up for it with ‘gpp’ tonight and all day tomorrow, getting ready for the little boys big birthday bash.

Hey Petey… just catchin’ up buddy. Training is lookin" freakin’ awesome! Have a good time with the ankle biter’s birthday, as you know, they don’t stay small for long. My eldest is coming home for the long weekend from the Army tonight… guess I better pick up some more steak and beer… lol!

Hiya Bunny. The birthday should be fun. I also have my nearly 20 year old coming over earlier that day to go training with me, barring he doesn’t come up with some reason not to. Enjoy that steak and beer with the eldest!

i can lose the first bit easy, but then it gets really hard. training looking solid hoss!!!

Unplanned deloads are the best kind, just make sure to eat up at the party!
