Because once you slap the label on someone other idiots will come in and follow without actually thinking.
It’s not that hard to see. I mean, it happens all the time online. Slap a “he’s racist!!!” on someone and watch that person have to defend their remarks 100000x over.
this is a new phenomena no one knows how to navigate properly yet, but people are eager to use it as a weapon as much as possible.
And then you have people like you, who say things that we can scroll up and see, and then just deny saying it and ask us to go back up and quote your own posts.
you don’t care for what I mean, you don’t listen to my explanations, none of that matters to you or the small little herd here.
what matters is that the label sticks, and that I have to atone for any transgressions going forward.
how many times does it get repeated by the same people “you hate women” and then I have to come back and explain, well no I hate modern feminism and what it does to some women.
I can say it until I’m blue in the face, will It change anything? No, not unless I totally come into agreement with the few views in here from those that shout it.
Do you believe I really don’t know the difference? Or it may be that I know the difference, and I also know that I have repeated my stance on forum pic posting many times over.
Is it hard to understand that? Is it hard to understand that I sent something to a publicly displayed email?
This dynamic Is strange to me , I’ll give you that. Posting half nude pics (like many do here) is somehow totally ok because it is a public forum. I dunno…
reminds me of people 10 years ago getting mad on Facebook that others would reply to their public comments with disagreement “why are you following my posts” or something like that meanwhile the idiot was posting it to everyone on facebook. Makes no sense, weird cognitive disconnect there.
Like I said before it brings me back to the movie One Hour Photo. Before it was so weird for someone to look at all your family photos, or have a copy of them, but now? Everyone willingly posts their entire lives online.
Not sure how this thread took such a hijack (Who’m I kidding. Of course I know how.)
It’s hard to understand why you e-mailed a picture to one specific person who asked you to post pics on the forum, when there have been several different people who also asked you to post pics on the forum.
Posting physique pictures is somehow totally okay because it’s a website focused on improving physiques and a thread specifically intended for members to contribute physique pictures or training videos. As I said in the initial post of that thread, there are very easy ways to avoid revealing your identity when posting a pic.
Your decision to post multiple comments (including calling for other people to post pics) while avoiding posting a pic yourself was trying have your cake and eat it too. And that didn’t fly.
It’s hard to understand why I sent a picture to someone immediately after they were laughing at me and asking for pics to be posted? Hmm the shock! The audacity of me to try and shut up the very person that I disagree with the most!
The issue is really how you view things, not me. The person decided to make this a big deal because THAT is who the person is. You ignore all other aspects of that situation and go one sided.
and you think I derailed the thread? or did it go sour when the OP"s thread got hijacked with race bait. No no no I’m the one that derailed it because I decided to defend myself which you seem to think I should not be able to do.
Yes because, again, two or three guys have done the same thing with regard to asking for your pictures over the last few months. One of them did it, literally, just a few hours ago in this thread and it went ignored.
No, I do not, and I didn’t say you did. I’m sorry if you misinterpreted the first line of my reply.
Immediately? It’s literally been several months, ever since you said you were bulkier than flipcollar…and you’re cleverly downplaying how obviously stock photo that photo was. If this is your first time on the internet, let me be the first to tell you that posting that as proof of anything means nothing, so you should have just not posted it.
Shhhhh! You’re not supposed to tell the guys what we’re into!
I didn’t know the whole sending unsolicited pix directly to email was a thing we were doing. Seems like that could go sideways quickly. Hence the no more DMing on the site.
@greenboy
You are correct that admitting to steroid usage on an open forum without protecting your identity would be silly. But a shirtless pic saying “trying to lose 10lbs” or whatever shouldn’t keep an employer from hiring you or get you doxed by an enemy. Disappointed you didn’t share the pics with the entire class.
you’re right, but that’s not all that has been said around this place. You know the type of discussions I’ve gotten into.
and people really do underestimate others online, to a large degree. I put out the most generic pic available, so much so people think it’s a “stock” photo ,and yet I know there are people out there that could trace this pic back to me if they wanted
either by chance, or because they’re that talented.
See, we don’t have to like each other and yet manage to get a good laugh.
There are different standards but to what extent? If I sent a very inappropriate pic to her email where her husband or boss could see then yes that would have been some fucked up shit.
I confess I totally didn’t even think about the implication of sending a ‘stock’ looking photo when someones significant other could see it, but then again I gave the benefit of the doubt that that wasn’t someone’s primary email. I guess I was wrong, some people are truly that stupid.
Did you read what I said in that thread? did you read that I said “ya know what I’m feeling nice, check your inbox” before I even sent it. It was right there, the person had the choice to either open the email or not. It wasn’t “hidden” I mentioned sending the email on that very thread prior to sending it.
in no way was this a big deal, the only reason it has been is because the person wanted to make it such and that is where I miscalculated.
Anyways, what is so stock about the photo? Is it the way it’s cropped? I mean, you do realize if I cropped it in a different way the ‘shoes’ wouldn’t of been so emphasized. Or is it the fact that I don’t look like I just spent 10 hours wandering around the woods lol
