I’ve given guitar lessons many moons ago to teenagers that clearly had no talent, and the first question I asked was " why are you doing this?" The talentless ones would almost always respond with something about some girl bleh bleh.

And BAM. There is. The crux of the problem. Who the fuck asked you for support? Did I tell you I was speaking about myself or my observations? And truthfully I do kind of think you’re stupid. You sure as hell aren’t some beacon of grand intelligence.
