Mole Question

Are you going to judge me by my tramp stamp, Orion? Does the Bible verse further up make things dichotomous or just classy trash?
Depends. What verse are we talking about here? I mean, Deuteronomy 23:1 would be a bit of a buzz-kill.

Then again, anything would be better than Dante’s lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’intrate.

Funny coincidence I was just reading Dante’s Inferno a couple days ago. And that gives me an idea for a supra-pubic tattoo.

Many years ago a friend and I got tattoos together in Bangkok. She got a little red-and green dragon coiling just above her tuft of blonde pubic hair (this was 1989: people still had pubic hair then). I kidded her about it, saying it must be the Colchian dragon, because it guards the Golden Fleece.

People don’t have pubic hair anymore? I must be doing something wrong.

What did you get for a tat? And was it in the same location?

I have seen a grand total of one tattoo on a girl’s ass (not a tramp stamp but actually on the glutes). Back when I was bouncing I had a girl pull her pants down on her way in to show me a tattoo of a star, centered on the crack with half on each cheek. I was not interested or intrigued or turned on, though to be fair that ship had probably sailed before she exposed her heinie. Although it did lead to the following exchange when I was chatting up a friend of hers she had gone for a smoke with.

“Dude, what are those?” (me pointing to about 12-15 visible piercings in her lower back)
“Ah, those are just anchors, man.”
“That’s fucking crazy. Have you seen the star on her ass?”
“Yeah. Have you seen what’s in front?”
“No.”
“Dude, what’s in front is ten times better.”

May be paraphrasing. Cool story, I know.

As regards a mole, tough to say without actually seeing it firsthand, but like others have said, if it bothers you (which, well, you started a thread about it . . . ) then get it removed. Or get a tattoo on/around it. Or decide it’s a part of who you are and anybody that wants to be with you is just going to have to deal. Or whatever. Just put your big girl pants on and decide what you want to do about it and what will make you happy. Somebody will judge you for it no matter what you decide to do, and for something small like this, your opinion should trump theirs.

I don’t mind the idea of a mole and I don’t mind the idea of a tat, but together? I don’t think it’s a good idea. You don’t want anyone peering at your ass in confusion, trying to figure out WTF they’re looking at.

Yes, if you’re going to get a tattoo, get the mole removed first and have the tat cover the scar.

Order of operations is crucial, as always.

@theBeth

You are NOT ALLOWED to put that quote as a tat! Talk about a downer…

that just means it is so good that you’ll be forever addicted to it.

PEOPLE:

My parents would have let me have it removed as a child without it being cancerous if it weren’t for the doctor advising against it. He said the scar would be far worse as it would be huge and indented, etc…

I guess I’ll just have to meet mole-friendly men…

Make a bullseye tattoo out of it.

Oh and if you really don’t like it, just get a cool tattoo around it/over it/ amongst it. You’ll be just fine. I’ve never kicked anyone out of bed for a mole. I don’t think a guy would either.
OMG PEOPLE?!?! Can they tattoo OVER a mole??!

I COULD GET THE RHCP SYMBOL OVER IT
Get a tattoo of a little halo just above the mole and angel wings on each side of it. When people ask, tell them it’s your “holy moley.”

Best Post

From my experience unless you have to have it removed for health reasons or can find a realy good plastic surgeon I would have it removed. I had to have 2 moles removed a few years back, they were found to be pre-melanoma and the scars are terrible. One of them looks like I was stabbed and the other one looks like I got shot. I am far more self conscious of the scars than I ever was of the moles. One is on my side and the other is on my shoulder blade.

I don’t understand; that sounds awesome. Just tell people you were shot and stabbed.

Yeah, you don’t notice the scar on Drew Bree’s face nearly as much as you used to notice that giant ass mole or birthmark or whatever it was that he had removed.
I was always wondering what happened to his face.
Pretty sure that is his birthmark. Never had it removed.
He’s had the birthmark removed for several years now. What you see now is the scar that is left.

Quote is relevant to the thread, me thinks…

In his book, Brees says “…it’s just part of who I am. I wouldn’t consider cutting off my arm. Neither would I cut off my birthmark. If I had been forced to remove it, I would have been devastated.”

Of course the book was written in '09, so maybe he changed his mind.

Count me as one who would not care one bit, provided there are no large black hairs sprouting out of it. Those should be tweezed if they exist.

I do agree about some moles on the face. Sometimes, depending on the placement, shape or size, they can be either highly unattractive or they can add sexiness. I’ve got a neighbor who has a couple of projectile moles on her chin that are highly distracting when talking to her. She is otherwise super cute and would look so much better without them. The type of moles she’s got would hardly leave a trace if removed.
