Hopefully I won’t dissapoint. And I told you, no breaks. Although I will probably ease up on the Squats and focus on one of my other lifts for a while. That way you can catch up.

That “catch up” will only happen if 5x5’s do miracles for my squat. I don’t think that will happen. Now, when I run Smolov again this winter…
Focus on this last session. Knock it out of the park, then get honed in on next week. You got it in the bag!

I said I wasn’t going to do anything but Squat this week, but I feel so much better than last week, it’s ridiculous. I’m just hoping to have maintained my Bench over these past 10 weeks.
My shoulder is feeling very good as well. Just did a lot of torture w/foam roller and lacrosse ball.

There’s nothing wrong with 5x5’s. One of the best combinations for strength and size as far as I’m concerned. How many months are you taking between Smolov runs?
I’ve got a couple pretty easy (no stress) couple of days between now and Friday. I’m pretty dialed in on that last session, then I can start thinking about next week.

5x5 did wonders for my bench. I actually had to stop doing it cause my bench got too close to my squat. This is the first time I have done it for squat, so I don’t know if I will get the same kind of results. We will see in 6 weeks.
I will do a 5x5 or 3x3 variation in preparation for my next two meets, July and October. If I get thru those two with little to no injuries, I will hit another rotation soon after that. I’m not sure if it will be just one phase or the whole thing. We will see when we get there.
