Because in general people are lazy and don’t enjoy going to work.
I make a good paycheck and enjoy my job - there are still days I don’t want to do it.

Shitting in bags sounds like a company problem, not a country problem. As mentioned earlier, aim for better.
Please share your world system view. “Those jobs would need to exist regardless” so where do you live if not in a country that treats people like cogs? On the moon?
And what societal structure are you experiencing where there aren’t service related jobs, which I’m gathering you view as a cog role?
Because jealousy is a bitch.
From what? Just answer the question I have asked multiple times. Why is there only one vehicle in this situation? The reasons I can think of:
-government has prohibited sales of any other vehicles
-only one vehicle exists, because there’s no market for vehicles and/or they’re prohibitively expensive to produce
-this is the first vehicle…so “inflation” does not apply
Boredom is much different than lazy.
The fact that this country allows this to happen to people is evidence of a governmental problem. You know, an oligarchy.
So don’t do anything about it, just accept it. That is your stance?
It’s not the work per se but how the people are treated.
I think I missed what you are referring to in this especially lengthy thread. Are you referring to the mistreatment of immigrants, in some or many cases illegal, in agricultural work?
No shit Sherlock. I am not bored - the days I don’t want to go I am just wanting to be lazy.
When your job isn’t that great it’s easier/less painful to make excuses to be lazy.
If you think thats really happening then you are a total idiot
It’s not an oligarchy though. You’re literally choosing to shit in bags if you keep a job that makes you shit in bags.
You’re free to move around the country and work for others, form a company of your own, be an independent laborer, learn to invest and/or trade for monthly profit et cetera.
If your plot sucks it’s because you do, not the country. If you don’t want to be a “cog”, then don’t be one.
Unplugging as a washed out bartender isn’t going to do it for you either. Be better.
You’re stating that this is some sort of policy at the company in question, right? Does the company in question provide the bags and bottles? What happens if someone refuses to poop in a bag?
People need to do this to make their quota or potentially lose their job.
Better question: What happens if someone doesn’t meet their quota?
It’s make your quota or potentially get fired. Should this even be allowed?
Not everyone can make it into management. It’s literally impossible.
I have no boss and make more money than I did as a bartender.
And when your job isn’t that great boredom sets in.
I’m referring to ANYONE who is working those jobs. Doesn’t matter who it is. It matters how they are treated. Pissing in bottles and shitting in bags is fucking crazy!
Boredom isn’t an excuse to be lazy.
If you don’t make your quota, then why should you not get fired???
Edit: What other jobs have this sort of condition?
Why do they want the job if they’re treated that way?
No one said it was. However, jobs with real meaning help combat this. Being stuck in a cubicle or on an assembly line is a recipe for boredom.
