Modern Monetary Theory: A Primer

Is this ~2,000 response topic basically boiling down to understanding a system and playing to win it vs. fighting the system without any real success outside of a shitty life and some attitude?

That is somewhat understated, especially the attitude.

Maybe so. But this was when I was just a peasant. Another person who shows disdain for the working class.

I have no disdain for the working class, just people who like to get on their soapbox and say they have everything figured out.

You have NO IDEA. Just make something up that you want to be true. Just another lemming.

You must have thought he was talking about you grandpa!

Maybe you think my life is shitty but I refuse to live in a country that treats human beings like cogs and be quiet about it. Rather than be someone like you who just accepts it.

There are probably quite a few people who DON’T want you to get out of bed.

No. I have never done any of these things.

Ahhh.I found a better way. One where I don’t have to be somewhere for a certain period of time on a certain day. Not having to worry about job security and make better money. WTF, are you even talking about.

Gawd damn are you mildly retarded? If there are far more people who want/need a vehicle and there is only one for sale do you not see how the price would be inflated?

So because I don’t accept the economic orthodoxy I think I have everything figured out?

Inflated over what? Is there’s only one vehicle truly for sale(which means: only one exists…edit: unless the State has prohibited other vehicle sales in your scenario, which would certainly inflate the price), or are there many vehicles? It’s difficult to use hypotheticals you propose, because you are so ignorant that you are unable to finish setting them up.

Probably so, but guess what?

I have the power and they don’t.

Sucks to suck.

Nobody treats human beings like cogs though. People who choose menial paying jobs become cogs on their own because they get stuck in a cycle of satisfying basic needs without room for much else.

Some people choose higher paying jobs, entrepreneurship, learn to invest and stock trade successfully et cetera and live on their terms sooner than later.

Choose your adventure.

Or really buck the system. Go live in nature where there are zero corporations. I’m sure berries and venison will jump in your basket.

And some people choose to serve beer at the local Putt-Putt-O-Rama, but soon have to be let go due to their lack of interpersonal skills.

Are all these illegals experiencing violence in their homelands?

Will you be residing amongst them when they arrive, like in the same town?

Pissing in bottles and shitting in bags for the company is not being treated like a cog? Maybe you think it’s a menial job but what would you have if it weren’t for those toiling away to get your package to you?

These jobs you call menial would still exist and need to be filled, no matter how many people chose to train for a higher paying job or stock trade etc.

Why?

If the price rises over scarcity is this not inflation? If there were more vehicles to buy would the price not come down? I know this is tough but try and think it through.
