Modern Monetary Theory: A Primer

Fixed it for you. MMP is lipstick on pig. It’s communism with big hairy acronyms and big talk to try and hide that it’s plain old communism, which fails everywhere it has been tried.
If you like communism, bud there are places you can go. Go there and commence sharing in paradise.

And who does this?

Also companies using inflation as an excuse to raise prices. Just fleecing the public. But go ahead and find excuses for this. Justify it.

Man, do you ever get tired of being wrong? Explain how it’s communism. Can’t wait to hear this word salad. I enjoy watching all the knuckle-draggers on here twist themselves into a pretzel trying to keep their feeble economic philosophies on life support.

This requires proof - as far as I can tell from the data in most industries (posted numerous times above) - percent profit is roughly equivalent to what it was in past years. Total profit numbers sound great in an inflationary market. That is why CEOs tout them in earnings meetings (which are just PR meetings). The true metric is percent profits - if that is even companies aren’t fleecing anyone.

Like i said before every video I have watched for and against MMT says the government should place orders when public demand for certain goods drops. This has to be done to achieve the employment targets MMT relies on (per your own admission - production should be ramped up). This is artificial demand.

Again, tell me what industry currently doesn’t have a surplus in the US already as I can go buy just about every consumer good i want at the moment without waiting.

He has been told this like 100 times in this thread. He has zero clue how businesses operate or how they function in the real world with P and L.

You can’t even explain MMT in your own words, lmao.

There is evidence companies across industries have lower profit margins than in previous years. That remains to be seen, but would not surprise me since I actually look at COGS and indirect OH for a living.

All these knuckle-draggers that are infinitely more successful than him.

What does that make him?

A hypocrite who enjoys the benefits of capitalism while raging against it.

Without capitalism his day trading job wouldn’t exist.

Not surprised you couldn’t follow that conversation

Good Lord. You live in a fantasyland.

Lost my password and after a failed attempt in trying to recover it, I thought it would be easier to start over. So don’t pat yourself on the back too soon.

Might work if you start over at birth.

As often as you lose your password here, I hope you remember your currency trading passwords better.

Starts singing.
