Modern Monetary Theory: A Primer

Don’t be too harsh on his dad. He probably feels bad for dropping him on his head as a baby.

Any lights coming on or bells starting to ring yet?

Hmmm?

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude… I thought you were gone! Great to see you back.

Remember this? Btw how did you get the same username again when the one you had when you posted this is now invalid?

EDIT:

Context for others:

The OP posted 2 or 3 studies which he insisted were human studies. I do not recall if he was confused about the term “animal model” in the abstracts because people rarely read beyond the abstracts.

The hilarity ensued when he posted one after another while persisting with his insistence despite one of the studies stating subjects were obtained from Bio Breeders and the term “hamster heart model” in a study posted after the one with “animal models” in the abstract, IIRC.

Btw, Zep, not arguing. Only reason why I did argue with you before was the socailist nonsense and the posting of a link to Maoist propaganda. You still do not get that a country like China now is far from whatever socialist ideals the West has conjured up despite having been told that a bum can obtain 5 credit cards from 5 different banks without proof of income. There is no universal healthcare there.

There were zero handouts during all the COVID lockdowns there while you were getting 3K a month from your government. This was after we ceased exchanges. China still maintains that it’s a socialist country.

And a 3 hour flight there via China Airlines, which is State controlled, has had fluctuating prices even for citizens from abroad. Current prices are around 5K for economy class for inbound flights from the ASEAN region.

They were not asked to leave, they fled because the Castro regime would have shot them

they fled to freedom and left the communist regime

I don’t champion other countries like you with your Toby Kieth version of the U.S. I simply state other economic models work better than capitalism for the majority of the population and that the U.S. must not let these examples be known. Otherwise people may get ideas and we wouldn’t want to let the ruling class here be threatened in any way.

What about the homelessness in the richest country in history? And YOU love capitalism as it renders even working people homeless. Where 10’s of thousands die every year w/o health insurance. You know where people don’t die w/o health insurance as a cause? Countries who have some form of single-payer. But no matter the amount of evidence shown as a real life example in real time. The murders in healthcare can depend on people like YOU to spew their propaganda to help keep them in control and the profit spigot turned on.

More drivel.

Great excuse to steal other countries resources and kill them during a coup as the U.S. helps to overthrow democratically elected governments… Wow you are really a stand-up dude.

So the U.S. doesn’t have sanctions against Venezuela? Is that your position?

The obesity question. All with the help of wholesome corporations making profits. No criticism for them huh? As long as another buck can be made w/ these Franken-foods and the marketing of them for sale. It’s all good. Capitalism at it’s finest.

Yeah, due to sanctions.

Well then. What are they?

So because the U.S. has more weapons it’s all good to try and help overthrow a democratically elected country.

And you are a cheerleader for murder. And you are anti-freedom.

So that makes it right?

In the animal kingdom this is certainly true. But animals don’t have morals. But then again neither do you and plenty of the other mouth-breathers on this forum.

So overthrow other countries democratically elected governments for resource profit? Is that striving for peace?

Why don’t you just state your point, instead of trying to be cryptic.

And this is a main reason to explain why most households can no longer survive on 1 income. Bwahahaha…

Yep, people raise families on 1 income. So very common.

Don’t need to “work” a traditional job any longer.

Growing up in a world where profits did not reign overall.

Bwahahahaha… GTFOH
Oh man, the propaganda is strong with this one.

Ok.

Its those giant evil corporations who make those nice lives possible.

That’s not my position. My position is the sanctions aren’t what tanked their economy and lead to their people starving to death.

Corporations make profit. They don’t force one to eat the shitty “food” they produce. Canned veggies, rice, eggs, chicken, and oatmeal (not the sugary stuff) are still cheap. I can still buy enough canned veggies to last me over a week for about 12 bucks at Walmart.

What an odd conclusion to come too. Must be nice living in that imaginary world.

The government does shady crap, same as every other country’s government. I can’t control what those in DC do.

Then move to CUBA if you think its so great

instead living off capitalism and enjoying the freedoms we have

what an ass-clown you are

And make lives miserable. They completely try and sweep their externalities under the rug. Then when the government tries to hold them accountable, dumb fucks on the right cry about government intervention.

:man_shrugging:t2: Ok.

Then go make 80-110k per year doing some hippy shit or what ever. That should get you about the same life as you were raised in.

You can’t have your cake and yell “fuck you, you evil cake bastards” too.
