Modern Monetary Theory: A Primer

I imagine it will replace the mundane and easy jobs (it’s already happening). But, will also create more skilled and specific jobs to maintain them, etc.

This is where universal income comes in that has merit probably or at least a good argument for it.

Universal income? Where does the money come from to do this?

Yes individuals that are ultra-wealthy use their money to buy off politicians so the laws work in their favor and make them more rich. Because it’s never enough! But people like you believe they are the job creators and deserve special treatment. Like massive tax cuts and subsidies for the corporations they may be employed by or more precisely own.

And who is a big fan of Robert Reich?

Yes they may be inferior in some ways but superior in others.

If I said C-corp would that sharpen the point for you?

What makes a c corp a “standard” corporation?

Okay, and?

Okay, and?

There’s nothing to believe. They literally create jobs. Amazon has created tens of thousands of jobs.

Where did I say they deserve special treatment? You don’t understand the tax code and I’m not explaining it to you.

And who gives them tax cuts and subsidies? Is it consumers? Is it competitors? Is it the Tooth Fairy?

The “different perspective” you provided cited Robert Reich. Did you even read it?

I noticed you didn’t actually refute what I wrote you just went with the typical Zep tactic of asking a question to deflect.

They are inferior in almost every single way.

That’s like saying a geo metro is superior to BMW M5 because it gets better gas mileage…

I’m sure.

I’m sure.

Man, I sure wish you’d been around to save us from every advancement. Let’s imagine no one has to work to produce goods. Prices plummet. Everything will be okay.

If it’s all a miscalculation and there ends up being no one to purchase goods(therefore, no profit), capitalism allows for correction. Quickly.

The industrial revolution?!?!?!?!

How will people buy goods?!?!?

Capitalism committing cannibalism.

Noooooo…not at all.

So according to this logic, slaves should have never revolted.

Target, Walmart, 7-11, ticket taker at a movie theater?

Bwahahahaha…thinks labor laws are strictly enforced. You are adorable.

Not the purpose of the overarching point. Co-ops do better than most businesses in most ways.

What good are plummeting prices if a large portion of people do not have money?

It is often a structure used to form a corporation.

And if AI takes a good number of jobs(the majority) who will purchase the products? I guess you are assuming more jobs will be created. Maybe.

Sounds like idiots talking about the national debt.
