Modern Monetary Theory: A Primer

Everyone of those reasons can be summarized as “That particular boss is an asshole”.
The article also doesn’t claim that everyone hates their boss.

Not great obviously. But since I lean Buddhist where karma and negative rebirth are a thing, sooner or later their actions will have negative consequences on them.

Currency trading would not be a profitable endeavor were others not out there changing the economies those particular currencies are active in. The values change only in relation to the perceived strengths/weaknesses of the associated economies and their relation to each other. …
Without corporate profit and economic growth/productively you would make exactly $0

Again, that’s your hang up. I have no issues with having a schedule.

You can’t even follow along in your own forum, what a clown

All but one of us knows this.

We’ve been #1 for the last hundred years or so. I think we’ll be fine.

When you’re #1 it’s difficult to become even more #1… It’s king of the hill and we’ve been king for a century.

Yes, no one is tired of China’s shit…

Authoritarianism seasoned with slavery and sweatshop labor is much better.

Imagine how much less co2 we’d produce if day trading wasn’t legal.

Sorry I understand what words mean.

You’re celebrating the rise of a country that has Muslims sitting in internment camps as I type this.

What industry? e-commerce isn’t an industry. Amazon operates in a lot of industries and they are not the largest in them all.

Do you not understand how competition and market share work? Oh, right, of course you don’t.

Never said this. Literally said you could make an argument they exist in some industries. Learn how to read.

What industry?

You don’t know what half these words mean. Name a single inelastic product Amazon produces.

Sorry not sorry I have a functioning brain and working knowledge of how business works.

No, it’s that you’re dumb.

It’s not and you would know this if you ever had an actual job in finance.

In GDP.

You’re only able to trade currency because producers support you. Imagine thinking this isn’t the case.

Not to my knowledge and I have attended and graduated from a premier one.

How did you come to that conclusion?

The U.S. is heading TOWARDS capitalism?

I pretty much agree-it’s not capitalism that cannibalizes itself, but the humans that benefit from it. Capitalism allows for such a fantastic improvement in quality of life that people have time to sit around and bitch about the fact that they don’t have as much as some other people, instead of having to work constantly in order to just survive another day.

It’s funny because way up thread I basically said this and told him to reach Schumpeter, but it wasn’t a YouTube video from Comrade MMT so he ignored it.

I’m not saying “everyone hates their boss” I know there is always an exception.

And they do exist. Just ask an employee.

What of those who don’t lean Buddhist? Should enacting a judgement for wrong doing not be pursued?

And I would find something else.

I have done both and no schedule is better. If you like having a schedule, good for you. I do what I want, when I want.

So everyone I cite or read about is an activist? What about the economists?

Who is Schumpeter respected by?

The argument is all around you, for fuck’s sake. How blind can you be? Like Plato’s Allegory In The Cave, you’re just watching shadows on the wall and believing them to be reality.

Kinda like the U.S.

Yes that should happen and does for actual crimes. Running a successful business by the rules set up by the governing body of where those businesses reside is not a crime. Even if the laws are screwy.

You and I agree that corporations should not be able to monetarily lobby that governing body.

I have worked for these folks. Notice the past tense. There is a reason they no longer have my skill set available to them.

With what demonstrable skills?

Man, whatever. Keep being a fucking idiot. I don’t care.

Zero knowledge of modern China history. Not even the most basic of the basics. Ziltch. Where is the fellow getting his info from? Now I’m seriously curious. This is like twilight zone shit, man. In the past, there were at least grey areas and valid points of debates like, for example, financial liberalization in the Nordic States wrt to it’s pros and cons, but this is bizarro world shit.

I just asked a question and you get all butt-hurt.

But they do. How was this made possible?

So trading currencies is all I’ve done?

Yes towards it’s last gasp.

All good things they say never last.

Not to the degree of world police.

Are you talkin’ bout the U.S.?

The military is one of the, if not the largest contributor of CO2.

Just not ideas.

How well do they do in the e-commerce sector of the economy?

They may not actually produce it but they certainly sell it. Chocolate.

But not federal economics at all.

Maybe it is NOT what ought t be pursued but the trend is exactly what is being pursued.

I can and would do something else if this dried up.

All good things they say never last.
