The 7x340 was ridiculously easy, probably could have gotten 12+.

Learned the gym I had been going to is closing next week, so I found a new place in town. I like the new place. It seems to have literally every hammer strength machine ever in it, so that should be fun for a couple of weeks. They actually had a deadlift bar, but the knurling was kinda scant. Didn’t feel like doing a whole hell of a lot today, so hit the basics and left. Going in tomorrow to do some back work.

Everything felt good. Sweated like a mofo this workout. I’m not actually sure the DBs were 60, they weren’t marked and actually felt heavier. Whatever, it’s only DB bench

My knee has been bothering me since squat day last week. Once I got the 290 on the bar and did the reps, it felt so much better. No problem from it at all on the 325 set or the 315 sets. The 6x325 felt good and the 3x3x315 sucked dick, which is good. The other stuff was mainly for mobility and whatnot. Let’s see if I can get this video stuff figured out again.

Everything went pretty well. I tied an old PR on press and could have gotten more, but I was leaning to my left side a lot. The HS dips were supposed to be for triceps, but they were mostly shoulders. I find it really hard to feel my triceps, and the tri exercises I did today worked really well actually. Going to keep with them and try to bring up my arms.

Everything went pretty well. I expect to be pulling more weight once I get back to Clemson and have chalk. About 2 1/2 months ago, 360 was my 1rm, so pulling it for a pretty easy 7 was nice. I kept at least 2 in the tank today.

Found out when some of the big guys at my new gym train. It’s nice to be the weakest and smallest one in the gym, gives me more motivation. Dead tired from today’s session. The dips were pitiful, but I guess that just means I destroyed my triceps beforehand, which I’ll take

My left knee is still jacked up from squatting a couple of weeks ago. Everything else seems to fine for it but squatting. I’m going to stop squatting for a couple of weeks and hopefully that’ll improve. I have much more strength that today’s squats showed, my knee just couldn’t handle it. Otherwise, I’d say it was a solid session.

Deadlift went really well today, 10lb pr. I’ve been feeling really worn down, so the deadlifts took basically everything out of me and I didn’t feel like doing too much more. I had to stop by the grocery store right after lifting so I bought a 1/2 gallon of milk and pounded that bitch in 5 minutes on the drive home. I felt so awesome pounding milk and blasting Black Dahlia Murder after hitting 2 deadlift prs.

Felt good today. I think my bench form has gone to hell, I can’t seem to get my leg drive working correctly. It’ll be awesome to actually have training partners again at school. Also, I’ve decided to abandon following any published program, instead I want to learn on my own. That’s not to say I’m going in everyday with no idea and reckless abandon, but I want to have my own journey.
