Jay Bruce is the Phillie’s best player.

I’m sure you’d look a lot better up there in the box.
It’s really not that hard to figure out. Lincecum revamped his slider, throws it with similar arm speed and action as his change, and can mess with hitters even worse than he could before since the move in opposite directions.

Hopefully Cain pick up where Timmy left off…

ORANGE FRIDAY!!![/quote]
BOOM. Halloween colors for the whole month of October, and maybe November…

DAMN BWEEZY!!!
ughh extra innings…
GIANTS, WTF!!! Let the Braves off the hook.
Some really good games today! AL could learn something from the NL.
Damn, crazy game today. Go Braves!
Oh Em Ghee Giants.
WHATEVER.
Its a good thing that after decades of this disappointment I am almost too bitter to care. Almost.
Why the fast hook on Romo? bad call.
Oh well we were just gonna’ end up losing to Philli anyways.

Um wut?
Jay Bruce, Brandon Phillips, and Scott Rolen should all buy Chapman dinner for a month. That was a horrible game.
Not a good performance by the Giants pen. Wilson was called in to take care of a tough situation a simply couldn’t do it. The top closers need to close in the high pressure situations.
Game 3 should be very interesting as Hudson, the comeback pitcher of the year who has some serious experience under his belt, takes on Sanchez who has no playoff experience…

Why was Wilson in the game? He’s never thrown a two inning save in his career. There’s like 6 other guys in the bullpen with him.

Don’t forget Bronson Arroyo. He should’ve left the game with 0 runs on the board for the Phils
Further proof that the NL is bush league.

Completely agree, I don’t know what Bochy was thinking.

Actually, a few times this season Bochy put wilson in the 8th inning, with 1-2 outs already.
But yes, I agree that the NL is fucking gay.

I don’t think he’s (Wilson) ever thrown a six out save at least not this season. And I still think they didn’t need to pull Romo yet it was panicky. I don’t know… Wilson was fresh yeah but I think the hook was fast. Also I’m afraid this is the end of it for the Giants. They needed to win here and I suspect the post season is over for all intents and purposes.
ETA: Of course Wilson’s job was just to stop them in the eighth and the ninth could’ve been dealt with after. He didn’t do his job.

NL takes a lot more strategy from a managerial standpoint. AL you just leave the pitcher in until he is basically done because you don’t have to worry about when the pitcher comes up to bat.
I was stating the NL games have just been a lot more exciting even if it was caused by errors or two dominant pitching performances by Halladay and Lincecum.
Pitching around the #8 hitter to get to the pitcher is fucking gay. Hate it. In the AL when a player is pitched around it’s to get to a hitter that the pitcher better matches up to/ a player who is slumping. In the NL it’s to pitch to someone who can’t fucking hit.

Which makes it that much more embarrassing when it backfires.
The AL basically lets players play 1/2 the game (both the pitcher and the DH). That’s GAY!
The AL says “Oh, you’re the pitcher. We’ll let you sit this one out because you’re not that good at it.” The NL says “we don’t give a shit if you’re the pitcher, you have to bat because that’s what men do.”

lol come on man, why the hell do you event want to watch the pitcher hit? Simply because you view it as the “manly” way to play the game? I’m all about the quality of play. Plus I don’t see a point in increasing risk of potential injury to the pitcher.
Yeah I would rather have the DH as well.
