Exactly. This is what irked me about the World Series. It seems like a lot of the credit for the win was given to the Giants’ “hotness” and the Rangers deficiencies. The bottom line is that the Giants were the better team on the field. They outplayed the Rangers in all facets of the game and this is simply not the mark of a “hot” team. It’s the mark of a very good team.
The Rangers had every excuse to het it shoved up their ass by Bumgarner, or Cain and Lincecum as well. The pitchers are simply THAT good and the Rangers were blatantly intimidated by the atmosphere and then by the Giants themselves. Give credit where its due. With the major players in the pitching staff coming back and with Bumgarner looking like a left-handed version of Cain, the Giants could very well be getting “hot” and “lucky” and end up benefiting from the “deficiencies” of the other teams in the league all over again next October.

Its really disturbing. I think that ice cream pic is from before spring training this year. Panda was visibly fatter every week during the post season. Really mind blowing. That much talent! The guy is a legit 300 hitter that can swing in thirty plus homers and he is wasting it all. So sad and frustrating. I’ve mentioned that his older brother plays in our A league San Jose Giants and he has a much different physiqe. More disciplined batting style also. Its sad for Panda really I mean for millions of dollars and the chance to be a baseball great you’d think he could control it better. He could’ve been a world series hero! argh.
