Damn was hoping for Steve Barton 2.0 didn’t happen.
LOL
Burnett surprised me by getting to the 6th inning but I knew he was going to be clobbered. 5 runs in 6 innings.
EDIT: I can’t decide who my favourite Yankee is Burnett or Mitre
You can always count on Burnett to blow it!!!
FUCK YEA!!! FUCK NEW YORK!!! whooooooooooooooo GO RANGERS.LOL

I feel like every person watching the game had the exact same thought as me starting that 6th inning. “Burnett hasn’t pitched in so long, he gave you 5 solid innings, at the absolute 1st sign of danger I’m yanking him in this 6th.”
Sure enough he gives up the bomb. Apparently Gerardi was not thinking that…
Take away that game one 9th inning and this would/should have been a 4 game sweep. The best part is not many people gave Texas a chance in either the 1st or 2nd round going into them.
Assuming this game finishes up as is, even if the Yankees force game 7, how do you beat Cliff Lee? I don’t see it happening, pretty much consider this a death sentence of a loss.
Before the ALCS started, I predicted the series depended on Josh Hamilton producing… if he did they would win. Now he’s hit 3 home runs in this series and they are about to go up 3-1.
Heh, here we go. Can’t buy a strike
Edit: That was a good damn play to get that 3rd out.
Rangers are very confident, but their bullpen makes me nervous, especially those 2 sidearm guys
RANGERS!!!FUCK The YANKEES!!! I’m very happy the red sox didn’t get Burnett. Josh Hamilton looks to be back on track. Also nice job Giants! Great pitching by Cain. Cody Ross has stepped up big time this series.
Big Tex is out for the rest of the playoffs.
~
Giants are up 2-1. Looking forward to Bumgarner’s performance today, this kid is a stud.
Life is good.
I’m curious as to what the future of the Yankees holds. The core of their team has gotten so old. Mariano is the only one who hasn’t lost a step.
I was hoping Girardi would go to the Cubs but Quade got that spot.

Don’t worry man, I’m sure the Yankees will hold on.

Gigantes are up 3-1 in the series. The Freak will take the bump tomorrow with a shot to stamp our ticket to the World Series.
