Come on man. Don’t be that guy that always brings up the shoudla woulda coulda. It’s sports, there are always a pivotal plays, that’s what makes it the best thing in the world.

Lol i was only saying that because someone said that they could bust out 10 runs in the next game. But you’re right, and that’s why i didn’t say that until now. It was very small of me
Lee is not as good as the Yankees made him look tonight. They looked like fucking chumps. They were way too patient. He throws strikes; you’ve got to hit them or, you guessed it, you’ll strike out. imad.jpeg

I disagree. You said yourself it was a pivotal play and it is the team that takes advantage of those moments that wins. I seem to remember one or two people commenting that the Phils only won game 2 against the Reds because of errors. You can’t deny that Ibanez’s error played a part in the Giants’ win.
Its the post season. Games are going to be decided by a lucky bounce when two teams are so evenly matched (unless its Lee on the mound against the Yankees). Look at these two rotations and tell me why you would think either team is going to score a lot of runs? If the Phils can win due to an error I will gladly take it.
Now if SickAbs had made the statement that Halladay’s pitch before Burrell’s double was a strike that would be whining

Ah, but he DID have that error Sickabs, he did have it. And the Giants are a totally different team at home. The fans are going to go apeshit and the weather/day game start will play into the Giants hands as well. By 3 pm the sun will be extremely tough and the Phillies have never played here anywhere close to this late in the year. Bad shadows and a bad glare on the hitter’s backdrop this time of day and year.
Plus, the wind out there usually picks up right around 2 or 3, so the conditions are going to change drastically between the first and sixth innings. This should all play into the Giants hands, on top of the fact that the Phillies haven’t really ever played good ball at AT&T Park and certainly haven’t played well there the last couple years. The one that worries me though is Rollins. He’s from the Bay Area and usually plays well in SF. It’ll be a good game regardless though. Not like the American/Junior League. Those games have been absolute nightmares.

The National League doesnt really exist enough to bump reruns of the Office from TBS

Honestly I almost prefer to listen on the radio because our announcers are awesome. I’m going to have to do that in my office today. Too bad I also have to pretend to work.

Is it true National League players have to take part time jobs on the side?
