re Washington’s decisions: Ogando has been lights out down the stretch. Craig is a really good hitter. That decision alone is not a bad one. You cant blame a manager when a good pitcher leaves fastballs over the middle of the plate or belt high.
FTR, I wasn’t talking about Washington’s decision to put in Ogando there but rather many of his managing moves over the course of the post season.
Batting Cruz 7th, Intentionally walking the winning run into scoring position, pinch hitting with Esteban German, odd bullpen management etc etc.
There’s probably more but I can’t remember them.

Wow this may turn to be a helluva series. aggressive beaserunning by kinlser and andrus huge. Regarding Wash he likes to put his guys in the same situation they failed at for them to redeem themselves. He did the same thing with Mike Adams vs the rays putting him in to face Jennings the day after he homered off him.
The turning point was definitely kinslers steal. Gutsy play there with no outs, andrus bunting, and hamilton up next especially with Molina catching. If he gets thrown out, game over.

Nice work putting Mike Napoli at 1st tonight. Michael Young isn’t any prize at 1st but definitely better than Napoli. Yes I know he made a good play earlier in the inning but he absolutely butchered that throw to home.
Orel Hershier just mentioned the direction of the wind just changed and is now blowing towards right centre field.
So everyone else sold on Instant replay for the playoffs after that blow call?
I just dont get that move. When is the last time Nap has pplayed first? a while. I figure Moreland would be there especially with a righty.

Don’t worry last inning proves no matter how badly Washington mismanages a game, the Rangers are so talented they will always be in it.

Also he said he wanted to get Torrealba into the game and give Napoli a chance to stand on his feet whatever that means.
Napoli at 1st in an A.L. stadium is a bad move. No way to explain that.

I guess he lives in the South Florida area during the offseason or something. My ex said she used to see him a lot back home. She said he would get mad when people would try to come up to him, or get autographs, and that he just seemed like an asshole all the time.

I dont really ever see the point in being an asshole, but I would also be irritated if I moved somewhere halfway across the country to achieve a more private life and it didnt work. Just sayin.
