Milk...

I have finally convinced my parents that full cream/full fat milk wont make me fat. I now drink 0.5gallons/2litres of the stuff everyday and I havent gained any weight ='( (I’m still 45Kg) I’m trying to up it to 1gallon a day but I can only drink so much before I have to go to the toilet and considering I have school its not that easy to go. lol

For every 100Ml there is 8g fat. Thats a extra 160g of fat a day and nothing. ='(

~ 2 gallons per week … mostly with Metabolic Drive in the morning

“it’s not healthy. humans are the only species that drinks the milk from another species.”

i love that one.

We’re also the only species that flies half way across the world to drop bombs on other members of the species, and nobody’s saying that’s bad.

We’re also the only species that allows Oprah on TV.

[hijack] Why is that bad - the bombing thing, that is, not Oprah, which is bad. Would you have us drop bombs on ourselves? (that was rhetorical for you Europeans).

I used to drink raw milk - till one day I looked in the bottom of my glass and there was a nice thick layer of blood…I guess the brown tinge in the jug should have tipped me off.

By the way what is the benefit of raw milk over pasturized? besides being cheaper, which is why I used to buy it.

Ever have blood sausage, same thing only not sausage.

I started buying it because it hormone free, organic and grass fed. Regardless of any health benefits (which I can’t quantify) I’d rather support my local farmer than some conglomerate. Interesting article it today’s Wall Street Journal about a small milk producer pissing of the big guys.

There are more benefits than you’d believe:

I believe it. I just can’t quantify it.
