I should transfer to the Guard and get promoted. I’ve only been in the Corps for a year and I’m about to get Meritorious Corporal, E-4. If I had been in the Guard, I could be picking up Master Sergeant by now.

It’s funny that your only response to constructive criticism has been childish responses. I can see why you have not been promoted. Do you think that your superiors like know it all complainers?
You are one of those people that thinks you are entitled to everything. You think you deserve everything, you probably talk crap about people who get what should have been yours. There are plenty of people like you and they don’t get promoted or special positions. All they get is put on knock off.
I’m not going to read through four pages to help an ANG guy, but I’ll tell you this:
Going to the Pentagon without using your entire chain of command is a very poor decision. You’re going to make your brass look bad, they’re not going to like you, and you might lose your stripe as easily as you fucking guard guys get it.
In the active world, the commander has the damn near final say so on damn near everything. That’s why they call him the COMMANDER. Arguing with him will not help anything. You guys get new AFSCs easily enough, just retrain again or something if you don’t like it.
snipeout: You are but a child though, why would I choose to elicit a response that would just provoke me further! If I were you, I would choose my words carefully and think before instigating a more aggressive response.
