Thing is, I was just like you when I was an E-3. Everyone else was stupid, they just didn’t like me, nothing was my fault, and I made sure everyone heard about it. Funny thing happened when I shut up and just did my job: things got better. Not right away, sometimes it takes a while. But when you start proving yourself to be a useful member of any organization, COC can’t help but notice.
Unless you have REALLY pissed people off(couch, called Pentagon, couch, cough - seriously, I can’t believe you actually went that route). Then your best bet might actually be to move to a different unit. If you do that, expect this to follow you. But if you show up, shut up, and get the job done without bitching, things will change.

I really feel like this is pretty fucking stupid on the OP. I mean, come on, if you have figured out it is who you know in the Guard, why don’t you make some fucking friends and stop complaining and crying? It is the military, and it isn’t changing anytime soon. These kinds of soldiers are the exact ones I do not want watching my back in a firefight.
BTW, I was enlisted in the active army first, and then got my commission, and am now in the Guard. I am now a 1LT. So OP, if you wanna try to talk regs, don’t mess with me.
Oh yeah, one more thing, if you don’t like it here, fucking leave.

The fact that you insulted the intelligence of anyone here who felt it was your own fault for almost certainly losing any chance of promotion (which it was)and then tried to act “hard” on an internet forum talking about how we wouldn’t dare suggest it was your fault if we met in a dark alley speaks volume to your own conscious knowledge that you fucked up.
