Good luck Stu!
Best of luck to you…
Woke up this morning at 175.8 lbs. I lost less water weight than I have in previous years (less than a lb this year). Comparing my weight today with 2010, but girlfriend suggested that maybe I just put on muscle, which while entirely possible, doesn’t make me worry any less about the weight class cut-off (176 lbs). Yes, it’s true that weight doesn’t matter as long as you look your best, but it’s hard to think that I could conceivably weigh more than last year and look better y a margin of 3 solid lbs. I do think my legs have improved somewhat (still a weakness when viewed in light of my entire physique), but I will need to push harder for those really deep cuts for the June 25th show.
I will admit that after hitting my poses this morning in the mirror, with the few coats of pro-tan set in, I’m definitely proud of how I look. Hopefully it will be enough to bring home some hardware this year, I’m expecting a hell of a fight today.

Good luck Stu!
Good luck. All that hard work will pay off.
175.0 lbs at weigh in… made middleweights. Only one lightheavy competitor though
… maybe I should have eaten more!

You’ll probably be all done by the time you read this Stu but good luck mate. I look forward to hearing the results and seeing some pics.

x2
Good luck!
Ok so the prejudging is over and i got to watch some video. In each round i ended up in the middle, so i think it’s safe to guess at least 2nd place. I was without a doubt the thickest guy onstage, and my conditioning looked great, although i was a bit drippy from the lights and a very prolonged pumpup (bit behind schedule here). I have witnessed some ridiculous decisions at INBF shows so I’m not going to ovrthink this. Just finding a place to lay down for a while.
Cross your fingers!

Fuckin ace man,
Hope you score well, all those months of hard work will pay off.
Hey dude - sorry we didn’t meet up at the show. Brick and me were second row behind the judges table - you looked great - really thick and fantastic conditioning!! : )
Not too sure what to say about the judging at this show (I took 2nd in the Middleweights). I had a ridiculous number of other competitors and audience members express their disbelief in the final decision. I won’t say anything negative though, just hoping to crush my 2nd show in 5 weeks. I do honestly feel I’ve improved considerably since last year. at 175 lbs, I’m a good 2.5 lbs more of LBM than I was when I won my Pro Card in the USBF last May.

Stu, you FOR SURE shoulda won it, but like you said, “it was just your warm up!” Go and plow some pancakes and back to bizness in a few days!
Stu, great job…Did #4 place 1st? You definitely should of won, but kill 'em in 5 weeks!!!
Yep definitely should of won man, you looked the best of them all, looking really thick stood next to the others, shoulders and calf’s look great in the vid.
Looking good Stu. In 5 weeks you’re going to annihilate the competition!
They gave it to #4, didn’t they?
Dude, your most muscular is sick, even in the grainy video!
You should have won imo.

Yea - I obviously didn’t want to post your placing until you did, but me and Brick were surprised. You should have had 1st. We saw the look on your face when you were called second and you were clearly very unhappy.
We hung around after the show looking for you, but we figured you were pissed and packed it in and left. Sorry we didn’t get to actually meet, but it was good seeing you compete.
You’ll crush the next show! : )
Front lat, side chest and conditioning are ridiculous. You were by far the best of the group, enjoy your shit meal then back on track for the next show.
