I’ve been told crack doesn’t last very long.

Maybe I will finally get some 4D shoulders with LSD.
OP is onto something I can feel it.

It doesn’t. It activates D2 receptors slightly and to a large degree 5HT2 receptors. There’s a difference between activating one receptor or another.

I think you can try it, but I don’t think it will have beneficial effects, especially if you count in the activation of the GIT and other side effects.

Anyone theoretically can try LSD. I’d be very wary of the those with pre-existing psychiatric pathology using it though.

Whilst the majority of case reports regarding LSD mediated psychosis are acute in nature, there are those who are very unfortunate in which recreational drug use, particularly psychedelic drugs (including cannabis) can induce chronic psychosis and/or bring out traits of previously existing psychiatric aberrations.

Anabolic steroids can independently mediate neurological dysregulation. What’s more, based on the data I’ve seen the demographic drawn towards AAS tends to harbour significantly higher rates of mental illness as comparative to controls/non-users.

LSD can be used for recreation and therapeutic purposes. Clinical literature appears to dictate LSD is probably the one of the “safest” commonly abused drugs in terms of acute and chronic toxicity. Though given LSD is a 5ht2b agonist I wouldn’t be surprised if overt use induced valvulopathy. Overt use would be unlikely given the lack of potential for addiction/dependence with this substance.

However the potential for cardiotoxicity irks me, why are so many pushing “microdosing”… We don’t have an adequate body of data as to whether this practice is safe.

Though drugs like LSD and psilocybin are quite safe, they are not to be taken haphazardly. These are very powerful mind altering substances and if taken in the wrong environment use can lead to disastrous consequences typically as a result of antisocial behaviour whilst under the influence.

I do find it amusing how harsh laws are about these substances in particular. Possession of LSD/psilocybin equates to prison time here. You’d think legality and penalties associated with various substances would be on the basis of potential danger to a given community.
