Michele Bachmann; Thoughts?

At least that’s what you saw. You have no idea what was left on the cutting room floor do you? And we all know which side of the fence Cooper falls on.

And that’s why I’ve said from the beginning that the republican candidate will have to face off against Obama and media.

You are wrong about this, but I suspect you know that and gambled that no one would call you on it.

Then, in all fairness you must disagree with the Obamacare. No?

This dude is a douche, he is sad that his party is losing. Obama will probably get reelected, but will lose the Senate.

What the hell are you talking about, Zeb? The individual mandate is at the CORE of the healthcare bill. Please… respond with facts. Try peddling that shit that Romney tried the other day.

No. I am for healthcare for all. It is a basic human right for all, not a privilage for only the rich.

pawlenty!! Now THERE"S a guy you can get excited about.

[quote]garcia1970 wrote:

This is what you said

And it is factually incorrect as it was not the modelfor the national health care bill that Obama shoved down our throats. Get your facts straight or you will be known as the absent minded professor around here. You don’t want that now do you? No, no of course you don’t.

Really now? Then you must be for free living quarters, free transportation and free food as well. Surely those things are at least as important if not more so than health care. What is a basic human right? And who says health care is? And where is this in the constitution again?

You socialists would be funny if you were not so dangerous.

By the way you’re all over this site like so much crap in a cow pasture - Be careful you don’t burn out.

Sure he disagrees, he wants it to go further. He’d like to take about 80% of all who make over 100-k and hand it to those who make less than 40-k. He’s a socialist…he’s NUTS.

Define “rich” where you live, because where I live, being “rich” means you make $47k/yr or more.

And being “rich” means you lose 1/3 to taxes, not to mention the highest taxes in the country, IN EVERY CATEGORY.

California also believes that people should have “rights” but when it comes to paying for them, Democrats like you have a brainfart.

Wait, wait, wait, I know…tax the rich…right? Again, those making $47k’ yr or more is rich. And you if you thought taxing businesses is the answer, guess where they are going?..Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, and other places where taxes are very low.

So let’s hear it genius…what other basic human “rights” should not only the rich be entitled to?

Now if you mean on a country wide level, have you lived in a country where socialized medicine exists? Because I have, and personally I don’t like, nor do other people like, being taxed at 70% of their pay check. You ever wonder why you see pics of people in Europe sipping on coffee sitting at caffes all day? Because there is no reason to work hard? You can never get ahead! Why break your back when you will only take home 30% (sometimes less than that) while the government robs you blind.

Think about it Garcia, you pay 10 yrs for something you only have 6 yrs access to, you really call that efficient? That’s a cluster-fuck that only a Democrat could pose as a success. Because where I come from, that’s a “D” in class. That is 60% efficiency, and pretty fucking lousy. My premiums are already going up, for other reason than paying for Obama’s bullshit Health care law that you call a “right.”

Yay for people like you, yay for Libs who think everything is a right. We have a $29 Billion deficit because of people thinking everything is a “basic human right.” I have to subsidize college tuition for illegal alien kids, yay for basic human rights. I have to subsidize prisoners wanting sex change operations while incarcerated, yay for basic human rights. I have to subsidize 1/3 of the country’s welfare (yes I said THE COUNTRY, not the state) because it’s a basic human right.

It is my right as a tax paying citizen to not be bent over by a Democratic legislature along with a governor who has done so much dope in his life, he cannot walk by a drug test without some alarm going off. Thinking like yours is the fast lane to bankruptcy because of city bus drivers making over $150k/yr or prison guards starting out at $70k/yr with 8 weeks paid vacation, along with their “walk time.” Yes, walk time, the amount of time it takes for you to walk from the parking lot to where your post is at your job, you actually get paid for walking that.

You are in the wrong state amigo, come to California, but seeing how you are, I doubt we are Liberal enough for you. Shit, I am surprised gangbangers here aren’t doing drive by shootings with organic soy bullets subsidized by Dept. of Social Services.

No Zeb, he is the margarine of Socialism, I want Garcia to move here, it’s paradise for him.

Check out all the Socialism perks…

  • A proposal currently on the ballot that would eliminate the requirement for a tax payer vote to raise taxes. Imagine that, taxpayers would not be allowed to vote on whether or not to raise taxes.

  • A proposal for counties and school boards to impose their own taxes on citizens. So on top of Fed, state, income, property, and the other taxes we already have, there is a proposal for a “school board” tax which has no limit. Yes, NO LIMIT, in other words, there is NOTHING to stop them from raising it as much or as often as they want.

  • A proposal to charge people a driving tax of 50 cents per mile driven, this is push people to use more public transportation, and pay for the 2006 Global Warming Law.

  • A governor who passed the state law to allow people to unionize.

  • A mayor who failed the bar exam 7 times, and never passed it.

  • A State Assembly Speaker who dropped out of Berkeley.

…So what do you say Garcia, are we (California) Liberal enough for you? If not, don’t worry, there are attempts at banning meat and salt, charging soda taxes, I kid you not amigo, you will soon have to leave planet Earth to have fun.

I hope Palin runs as the GOP candidate. Preferably with Bachmann as her VP!

Obama won’t even need to stop working to campaign!

I feel for the small-government conservatives. I’d love to have a Federal government that was tiny, including the military, while the States took care of 90% of business. Of course I want the State government to model itself after European-style democracies with a strong safety net and great single payer healthcare.

Of course the problem is that small-government conservatives have two problems 1 - They are scientifically illiterate (Not a single Republican Canidate understands biology at an 8th grade level) and 2 - They want to shrink Government - but just small enough to fit in our bedrooms.

FWIW -

“Michele Bachmann; Thoughts?”

None measurable…

Wait, city bus drivers make $150K would that be MTA bus drivers, I thought starting pay was $29/Hr?

Any links?

Some of that stuff is abviously goofy, buddy. Sure the meat thing will NEVER pass.

I used to work in CA right near Huntington Beach. LOVED IT!!!

Oh, and I DO believe in healthcare for all, not just the rich. AND SO DO THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS!!

Wrong again “professor” (you want to stick with that professor stuff or no?). Most Americans want to repeal the health care bill that passed.

Tell us, “professor” what else don’t you understand but think that you do.

Uh. Really? THIS poll shows a 2-1 margin.
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/living/US/healthcare031020_poll.html

This article talks about the right-wing bias of Rasmussen polls in the last election:

http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/11/04/rasmussen-polls-were-biased-and-inaccurate-quinnipiac-surveyusa-performed-strongly/

Also, your poll was not asking about universal healthcare. It asked about the healthcare BILL, which does not provide care for all.

This being said, the numbers do fluctuate, depending how the questions are structured.

ZEb, come on, tell us how rich you are. Tell us what you do for a living. Tell us about YOUR education at Hamburger University.

The bill that became law, Obama care is what we have, and it’s what most people hate.

Like any poll it’s all in the asking.
