Michael Jackson Dead Today

Katt Williams on Michael Jackson.

Katt is one of my favourite comedians, and I agree with most of his viewpoints,
especially on Michael Jackson.
It’s offensive if you’re still a fan,so be warned.

People are actually comparing Chris fucking Brown to Michael Jackson? WTF??

When the hell did Chris Brown meet the sales of Jackson’s earlier work and when did Brown have an album that out-sold every other album on the planet?

That kind of comparison is ridiculous.

Michael Jackson is a cultural icon, truly one of the most talented performers that ever lived. Chris Brown is NOTHING compared to him in any department of talent or otherwise.[/quote]

If this is telling at all, I don’t even know what Cris Brown looks like. Not that I’m the final measure, but you get the point.

We’ll see if he even brings it up again now. I personally doubt he will. That show was taped a long time ago.

michael jackson was a peadofile.

He may not bring it up or put it in his shows anymore, but if it comes up in an interview or something,I hope he sticks to his guns-
Someone being dead doesn’t mean they are instantly off the hook and become sacred.
BUT,I said ‘Fuck Michael’ then.
and I say ‘Fuck Michael’ now.

Within 12 hours of him being confirmed dead,I recieved about 20+ texts/emails of MJ jokes from friends, some are posted on here.I didn’t encourage it and asked them to not CC me with that shit,I don’t like it and I didn’t laugh.

They weren’t just MJ jokes, they were specific to his death/burial,etc. and clearly made up after he died-I thought it was in poor taste.Fuck that,I could have loved the guy or known one of his family or friends, they didn’t qualify that shit before they sent it out.
The reason I posted this was because I agree with Katt, and it’s damn funny, and it was filmed before he died.

I have to say, growing up as a kid,MJ was the fucking MAN,I’ll give him his due,EVERY fucking kid/teenager of every age on my estate loved the guy-white,black,Asian,all backgrounds and cultures,it didn’t matter. When my friend bought the thriller video on VHS,and before he even took it out of the box,his house was filled with about 30+ kids from the block, including me,crammed into his living room watching it.It was like Moses showing up with the 10 commandments or something. We were in awe.

We all bought or copied his cassettes,we tried moonwalking, doing the smooth criminal routine, singing like him,you name it.
I still like some of his stuff, some I grew out of-if Billie Jean or something comes on the radio,I’m gonna turn that shit up.

Yes,he inspired and influenced lot of people-I can like his music,I don’t have to like HIM.
The fact I WAS a fan is what made all his bullshit in later life harder to take.It cut deep.By the time I was 13/14,The rumours and shit were too much-he was a fucking joke and many peeps I knew growing up lost interest.Anybody who didn’t throw his tapes out, kept them tucked away at the back of the pile,it became something to ridicule.
I’m not religious, but whatever his problems and flaws and past,I do believe in giving people chances to change and apologise.
Bruce Lee is my main idol.He said ‘A man can be forgiven for anything,as long as he admits he is wrong.’
-That’s what grates me,man. He lied to his FANS,HOW CAN YOU RESPECT HIM? he fucking goes on tv or talks to a fan and fucking LIES though his teeth-

‘Yeah,I got 3 fuckin’ white kids, they’re all mine, yeah, this is my woman, just like the other women you saw me with, yeah,I love them,I’m sexing them, not little kids, nah,I didn’t touch no kids in that way-my white skin? yeah, its litavigo, yeah, nah,I’m not trying to be white,it’s a skin condition, yeah,I only bought all that skin-lightening formula just to even it out,ya know? Plastic surgery? nah,not for me,thanks,ha ha.’

FUCK YOU MICHAEL,I BOUGHT YOUR ALBUMS,BITCH! I PUT MONEY IN YOUR POCKET,YOU LIE TO ME AND EVERY OTHER MOTHERFUCKER? FUCK YOU.
This wasn’t a ‘phase’ he was going through, this shit went on for like 20 YEARS.

He had a shit-ton of money and supporters-he could have gotten help/more help for his problems, shit he could have paid for Anthony Robbins to follow him for a fucking YEAR,and talk some godamn sense into him,he had chances to change,to apologise, but no,he chose to live in a fucking fantasy world,he chose to ignore his issues, pay people off,he thought he was untouchable,if you’ve got millions of fans and supporters and money, you can do whatever the fuck you want.

I don’t think he even relates to ANYBODY.I don’t relate to ANYTHING about him or his life, and I fail to see how anyone else can. It’s like he’s from a different fucking planet.

If he came on tv and said 'They aren’t my kids,I got some issues,I’m sorry,I’m gonna get help, etc.'I would have a hard time not listening and forgiving him,but he DIDN’T.
Fuck him.

I have a hard time understanding how anyone,ESPECIALLY a black person, can relate to him or think they have ANYTHING in common with him.
He’s from a different fucking planet.

Shit,I relate to Mike Tyson more than him,who is viewed as a monster,I relate to him more than many other ‘idols’ of any race or background, despite his wrongdoing, despite his flaws, despite his mistakes. If I bumped into Tyson,I’d still be like a goddamn schoolgirl meeting her favourite popstar,I’d wanna chat to him,buy him a drink, invite him over for dinner, train with him in the gym,get his autograph, take a photo with him.

If he gave me five minutes of his time,it wouldn’t just make my day,it would make my fucking YEAR!
I’m not seeing how MJ is a inspiration to black people, once he went wrong, particularly African-Americans.
I’m white and British,so if you think I don’t qualify to say that, then call me out on it.
I’ll listen to your side.

I believe African-Americans have a far better choice of role models or inspirational idols.
Michael Jordan,Denzel Washington,Barack Obama,Sugar Ray Leonard,Tupac Shakur,Jesse Jackson,Muhammed Ali,Spike Lee,Malcolm X,Martin Luther King,P. Diddy,Jay-Z,Katt Williams,Dave Chapelle,Bill Cosby,Stevie Wonder,Ray Charles,Richard Pryor,Jamie Foxx,Will Smith,Sidney Poitier,Carl Lewis,etc.

You don’t need MJ,and you don’t need to be on his side because he’s a ‘brother’.
He forgot he was black.

Out of respect of his passing, I don’t expect Katt to go there. Not for a good while at least.

Yes lets hate him for things that were never proven instead of loving him for what he really did

Look, all joking aside, love or hate the guy, he influenced 3 generations of pop stars and dancers. He was truly the King of Pop music. He’s to pop-dance-choreography what Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen are to guitar, what Elvis was to Rock n’ Roll, Babe Ruth is to baseball-- there’s no denying his influence worldwide. The dude had an amazing voice (although quite overdid the yelling and ‘tee hees’ in his later years).

He brought modern pop music to third world countries as well as spending millions on philanthropic ventures.

Lots of these folks have their demons-- most recently in the news production genius Phil Spector convicted of murder. The guy is a freak who should burn in Hell if he did what he’s convicted of, but he influenced 4 generations of musical producers-- you can’t take that away from him.

Morbid media obsession with bringing people down unfortunately has overshadowed Jackson’ accomplishments in the past years.

I think I was like 10 or 11 when Thriller came out. I remember the Jackson 5 TV show. I certainly grew up surrounded by his music, and I’d be lying if I said my own musical abilities weren’t influenced by the J5 and his solo grooves.

My favorite Jackson song, for probably obvious reasons is “Beat It”, because Eddie Van Halen played the solo on it, and it really was the first ‘soul/metal’ fusion song. Thriller (certainly because of Quincy Jones’ genius) was just a quintessential album in so many respects. As the story goes, Beat It was conceived/written by Jackson (the rock fusion) and Jones made it happen.

Jackson also used Jennifer Batten (guitar) for a bunch of tours-- another awesome studio guitarist (and HOT back in the day).

Beat It Live:

Jackson/Batten:

Looked like an awesome show/production.

This pretty much sums it up for me. I was 15 when Thriller came out.

He also had Steve Stevens playing guitar on “Dirty Diana” from the BAD album.

Alot of people didn’t know that Eddie Van Halen played the guitar solo on “Beat It.” He was brilliant enough to already begin to bridge the gap between rock and pop.

Don’t confuse talent with genius.
And genius AND/OR talent alone does not in itself make someone worthy of idolisation.

I did. I heard beat it the first time when it was new in my friends car in Phoenix. I remember what streets we were on during that song. I knew instantly that was Van Halen. Then especially, it couldn’t possibly have been anybody else.

Is there anyone out there arguing that he was NOT “off his fucking tits”?

You should know this by now, though: rich people are eccentric, poor people are crazy.

I saw this avatar in a forum the other day… It had a picture of jackson’s face with the Joker’s paint on it and it said “Why So Dead?”. Pretty fucked up.

To all the MJ fans-this isn’t a personal attack,it’s a serious question-
If you had a friend, maybe a close friend, maybe an acquatiance, who did HALF of the shit MJ pulled,like-
(pick any 5)

  1. Changing his skin colour and lying about it being a skin disease.
  2. Building a goddamn theme park in his back yard
  3. Having kids come over to sleep in his bed in a special room, giving 'em candy and shit, having an alarm system right outside the door so he knows when people are approaching.
  4. Had several child abuse cases over several years, but always settled out of court for large sums of money, and kept inviting kids over despite this.
  5. Had to sell all of his shit cos he spunked a gazillion dollars just on fucking ornaments.
  6. Dangled a baby over a balcony.
  7. Had several odd relationships and marriages over his whole lifetime.
  8. Claimed to have THREE children from white women, who were all white, not even a shade darker.
  9. Made his ‘kids’ wear a viel over their heads.
  10. Named one kid ‘blanket’.
  11. Lied in your moherfucking face every time you saw him.
  12. Denied plastic surgery on several occasions, despite clearly having a plastic nose, and a totally different face.
  13. Lives in a fucking fantasy world, climbing trees and shit.
  14. Whose own sister,LaToya, publicly branded him a pedophile.

If someone you know pulled HALF of this shit over 20+ years, you’d still defend him? still walk beside him? still call him your friend?

I fucking wouldn’t.I give people chances,I forgive people, but if they keep fucking sround for years and years and don’t ‘Man the fuck up’ I cut links with them.-he gets a pass cos he’s a fucking CELEBRITY? I think people get starstruck and dazzled by his fame and talent and choose to ignore all this stuff.

I want to associate with people who share similiar values, not fucking freaks I have NOTHING in common with.
I come home from a shift at work, pop round to MJ’s house and talk about my day-what’s he gonna tell me?

'How was YOUR day,MJ? oh,really? you climbed trees today? ok…You wanna go drink some beers? oh,you don’t really drink,ok…um,thats cool man, have a soda,we’ll check out some chicks…oh,you’re having someone over? You’re sleeping with a 10-year old boy tonight?

I see…huh,um,that hasn’t worked out for you too in the past, bro, you might wanna think about that.Um,soooo, how’s blanket? I see.still wearing the viel? yeah,no,uh,it’s a good look, don’t get me wrong…’

Remaining unconvinced that he had actual sexual contact with children I’D say everything I’VE already said.

Amusing. So you’re one of those who mindlessly idolized him a few years back, then assuming he could do no wrong. EVER. You then felt jilted when the allegations arose; and now you feel the need to wave your dick on the occasion of the man’s passing by airing your opinions on an internet forum, and in the process shave off some importance-by-association for yourself (just like everyone who defends the man, funnily enough)…
