One of my favorite authors.
Oh no!! I enjoyed so much of his work.
Wow. I read a lot of his work - always a reliable read.
Me too. Jurrasic Park was the best book i’ve read in a long long time.
I didn’t realize he was 66. He’s books were excellant!
Sorry to see him go. Most of his books are my favorites, with Timeline as my favorite.
I was shocked when I saw this thread… He was one of my favorite authors.
Congo was a great book, never read anything else of his though.
Did anyone enjoy Congo?

I thought it was a great book!
Shit, that came out of the blue. Have only read The Lost World which was very well written.

Yes, but I went to school for Geology. I’m a sucker for any story revolving around a geologic plot.

I enjoyed it as well. I think Eaters of the Dead was my favorite, along with Rising Sun.
He was a pretty entertaining author and a bright guy.
Wow! Like others have said, I really enjoyed reading his books. I’m sad to see him go.
RIP
That’s a bummer. One of the greats for sure.

He’s a qualified doctor as well.
Timeline is a great read, one of my all-time favourite books. Shame about the film version, though…

Do not get me started on Timeline the movie.
Hehe, I know.
Maybe the writers forgot to actually read the book before ‘adapting’ it.
I dread to think how many people have been turned off the book by that trainwreck of a movie…
