went to remove plastic top and whole thing came off.
From good source. ordered sterile bottle and whatman.45 filter going to filter and put in new bottle. will this be ok ? Pretty sure home brew and just didnt get crimped well
I don’t know if this is what is supposed to happen, but when I open the BD tren I am currently using, the cap seems to be designed so that the metal top peels away and comes off. BUT…the rubber stopper remains in place. I actually like this better, because it makes it easier to clean the top of the vial before use.
Did the stopper come out, too? If so, I’d say yeah, filter it into a new sterile bottle (you might heat it for a while, too, if you want to be extra safe). If the rubber stopper is still in the vial, I’d say you don’t have anything to worry about.
