Metabolic Drive

I see on this site a lot of people are always recommending Metabolic Drive, and other Biotest products. My question is am I really missing out by not drinking Metabolic Drive?

I drink Met-Rx Ultry Myomosyn(spelling?) and Isopure(because I get it cheap), along with Casein by Optimum, is Metabolic Drive that much better? Has anyone switched over and seen more results?

Okay, so I would definitely agree that Metabolic Drive is a great product. But it’s pretty close to the same thing as the ON casein…

The only real difference is that the Metabolic Drive is gonna have a blend of different proteins, so the whey will be better for protein synthesis, it will also create a higher insulin response.

Something else to consider is that the ON has Xanathan Gum in it, it’s basically a soluble fiber that will thicken the shake(you can even make it into a pudding), make it more filling, and slower digesting. While the X Gum makes it pretty much impossible to mix lumplessly without a blender. The Met. Drive mixes much more easily.

It’s a personal preference thing, I’ve been pretty fair to both here, but having tried both I’d say that I prefer the ON casein for dieting.

The reason that you see all the recommendations for Biotest products is because THIS IS Biotest! Seriously though this is a Biotest website. It’s wrong to mention competitors products here.

Also most of us that have used other products first then came here have found these products to be at least as good quality, and more cost effective, then other stuff that we may have used.

Are you missing out by not using Biotest? I don’t know, are you? You are the only person that can answer that. If you like what you’re getting with what you’re using now, then don’t worry about it. If you don’t like you’re results, buy some and try it out.

Quite frankly I don’t understand using 3 different protein powders, especailly when 2 of them are Whey. If the Whey(s) is being used post workout, then keep it up. You might wanna check out the price of Metabolic Drive vs.

ON Casien and see which is more cost effective for you. Also consider availability and where you want/are able to buy from. Finally keep in mind that MD is a mix of proteins which are typically shown to be better for physique goals than a singular protien.

Personally Metabolic Drive (and Metabolic Drive Complete) is the best tasting and best working proteins that I’ve ever had. No gas or nasty aftertaste. It mixes well with water in a bottle (shaker or not). It also has a nice smooth texture. I don’t wake up “starving” when I take it before bed, nor do I get hungry and want a snack when I have a scoop or two during the day. I am also not “hungry” when it comes time to eat again and can stick my eating plan.

I get the powders cheap from a friend thats why I have them. Maybe I will buy a tub of it next time I run out and give it a try, cant hurt.

Nothing is a much better deal than free/cheap.

You are correct though, it can’t hurt to try. Buy a tub, the worst that could happen is that you have to drink a tub of protein blend, and then go back to your previous choice.

Gotcha. Gotta agree, nothing is better than cheaper/free.

I was wondering the same thing about Surge and have wanted to try some for ages. As I live in the UK it would be far to expensive to import from this site but luckily I have found some on ebay. I was using CNP pro recover before but Surge seems to be slightly different in that the carbs it contains are not all sugars…Gonna get some and see how it works out.

yeah i think im gonna try some Surge too. Since I have been reading on this site I have been wanting to just havent ordered it
