Men with Flip Flops in Gym

Hands on hips

Men these days just don’t know how to dress, those silly billy’s. I’d personally like to see them with no clothes on when they workout.

And don’t even get me started on the shoes this guy was wearing at my work the other day, no fashion sense at all…

Oh well, at least we have this thuper special thread to talk about it.

Always seemed like they were begging to get a toe broken. Not that it happens often, but I’ve dropped weights on my feet before and with the hard rubber toe tip on my chucks it kept me from getting hurt a lot worse.
I’ve had 2 people drop weights on their foot at the gym (enough for them to report it anyways).
One girl shattered her foot, other guy broke his small toe. Both were wearing regular shoes.

The guy sees me in my Vibrams as I’m giving First Aid, and asks “what if you drop a weight on your foot”. I respond “didn’t seem to help you” lol

Sandals are female attire. Even the GZA agrees with me! “That’s minimum and feminine like sandals”

Sorry, but it’s true. No one wants to look at your greasy, crusty, ugly feet.

Men and sandals are only acceptable in a public shower, a public pool, or at the beach.
I have to agree. But I certainly wouldn’t mind females wearing sandals in the gym <3
You would if you went to my gym. The only person I see wearing flip flops is a female…and she’s so gross it seriously breaks my focus. You don’t even understand the meaning of the word gross until you’ve witnessed this ‘female’ in the weight room in flip flops. Other than the waist level mammaries, the jury is still out on whether she truly is a female. But the gnarly trotters are abhorent. shudder

Look at these old school fags squattin’ barefoot.

This is not nearly as bad as the tools who ride around on thier Blue/white gsxr 600 with sandals and no helmets

I wear flip flops and go barefoot when I train at home.

i’m not really cool with seeing people’s bare feet at the gym either. i’m also not cool the guys who wear PJ pants… they’re just not structured enough

lol. I’m not even sure what “structured” means in that case.

Why you gotta call out the GSXR’s man? You could have said “sportbikes”

Although I also think it’s completely retarded watching a guy cruise by in shorts, flip flops, and no helmet, or shirt. Even in 110+ degrees, if I ride, it’s pants, boots, jacket, and a lid

Damn squids

boxer briefs. Supportive, but not constrictive.

I laughed at his comment. Yours is/was black, right? So he obviously was not talking about you.

I love how every footwear thread no matter what, basically comes down to, wear vibrams. LOL to be sure I am in 100% agreement. Vibrams FTW!

I like how you keep using the word cool. I’ve got a NARB minus the NAR.

If you have a problem with what people are wearing then go up to them and say it to their face instead of making a whole thread on a internet forum and bitching about it. Oh, take a video.

I wear nike type sandals with socks, its awesome, easy to slip off and on when I DL or squat, i dont see what the big deal is.

I prefer to squat, deadlift, and olympic-lift in flip-flops. Very similar to flat-bottoms or the ground.

I train buck azz naked In a commercial gym. It helps when doing box squats since you want to sit back until your balls hit the box. However I will use a towel when I bench and put on shorts when I deadlift.
