If you bothered to hear what was said not how you want to pretend it was presented, the stat is 1 in 6 women are raped, have experienced attempted rape or were sexually assaulted.
Again if like the critics of that law you think a woman being smashed on alcohol is still able to “consent” then fine, that will lower it. But not by a lot.
The stat is a legit stat and arguing it is ignoring all credible mainstream sources in favour of crazy people on forums. 1 in 6 is the stat, 1 in 33 is the mens stat that rises if you factor in men in prison who are raped by other men.

Well, a number that is thrown around quite often is that 1 in 4 or 1 in women that attend college are raped.
If you hunt it down, the number was either put forward by Ms Magazine in the 80s or some obscure feminist book that did not bother to cite any sources.

You will never get proper rape statistics because
a) it a “he said she said” thing and
b) rape is both one of the most under and over reported crimes.
Meaning if a woman claims to have been raped, chances are she is lying. More or less 50 50, or to use the most precise data available 45%.
Alas, it could very, very well be that most women that were raped never report anything, due to the “he said, she said” thing.
