He’s been right on the money about alot of things. People may try to discredit Gerald but it is hard to argue when things happen exactly as he said they were going to.

What I find most refreshing about the guy is the way he brings up topics that the Main Stream Media would never even think to bring up. The Media is reporting on stupid shit like “Who won Dancing with the Stars” or some other waste of time.

Meanwhile Gerald is bringing up topics like the massive refugee crisis in the Swat Valley in Pakistan due to the “War on Terror” and how this will lead to lone wolf terrorist attacks by Pakistani’s upset with US foreign policy. And isn’t it funny that’s exactly what happened in Times Square. Of course the Main Stream Media and the people that follow the lies they put out are all surprised when stuff like that happens.

Gerald Celente and the Trends Research Institute connect the dots on what’s going on in the world very well.

Watched it last night.

Interesting content, however, I still see deflation as a greater near term threat. By near term, I am talking about the next five years of so.

would you care to elaborate at all on that?

Nice video.

I always often play a game where I show people a pie chart of the Federal budget, and there are five massive chunks that take up aproc 70% of the budget: defense, SS, Medicare, Medicaid, and Welfare/other entitlements.

It ought to be obvious to anyone who looks at the damn thing, that those five areas are where WE MUST cut the budget if we want REAL spending reduction, but even the most die-hard, self-identified conservatives won’t even consider touching SS, Medicaid or (the holiest of holy) defense spending. Talk to liberals, and cutting defense spending is fine, but don’t touch the others. THE REALITY IS ALL FIVE NEED TO BE CUT BY 50% OR MORE. But no one will do it.

Everyone insists that by eliminating “waste” in the budget, and whining about agencies that get less that 1% is going to fix everything.

They are saying exactly what I have been saying.

I have, and quite extensively. Do a search of my posts. I have probably written a small book on the topic.

DHicky and I had page after page of discussion on it.

The problem I found is that most people want you to answer an extremely detailed question in a short paragraph. I would write a detailed answer to a question, then get a response like…

Jeaton wrote “Wall of text…” I would then be told that the reader or enquirer did not have time to read through all of that. There came a time when I no longer had the time or desire to write the answers.

However, if after looking up and reading my previous answers you still have questions, I will be more than happy to elaborate.

Go to Jeaton’s Market thread, It is a good thread to read. Has my point of view as well as his.

I think Jeaton and I agree with what the results at the end of the decade will be, but what goes on in the middle is what we disagree on.

The “Failed States” thread has a lot of good information in it as well. I think you can find it here:

I’ve been following the market thread I’ll look through that failed states one. thanks.

Virtually none of our politicians understand the basics of economics, monetary policy, and or the free market system. I fear for the vitality of America we have grown accumstomed to.
