Media Portrayal: Steroids...

This is why I don’t rely on American media for my news.

Won’t open.

Hmmm. Seems like it’s no longer there.

Wow. CNN is a piece of shit network!

It’s just more fear mongering and lies to support the agenda of the “free press”.

One of the more laughable things I heard on the CNN program about the WWE(paraphrased):

“For most of the wrestlers of the WWE, their physiques were made in the laboratory and not the weight room”

What a sack of shit. Pump Wolf Blitzer’s ass with test and have him not work out…he’d explode to the size of Triple H in months. :rolls eyes:

Or an even better one: “When they performed the autopsy on Chris Benoit’s body, they found Testosterone!!!”

<-----Smacks forehead

I’ve been a wrestling fan since I was 5. (20 years). I know and understand that these guys don’t have access to a weight room every day on the road for 275 days a year. I also understand that the type of punishment these men endure needs something beyond some hamburger meat and aspirin. I accept that they use steroids and don’t judge them for it. We don’t live in a perfect world, and CNN doesn’t take any of the factors of wrestling life (what I mentioned above) into accordance. They just slammed Vince McMahon and slandered wrestling to sell a story, simply put.

When you see the ridiculous reaction to things like creatine in the media, it is no wonder they go loopy over steroid stories. Seems like a new low to totally misquote Cena by a supposedly renowned news network.
