I had to back the weight all the way down to 185# in order to hit PL depth. It really frustrated me to miss three lifts and I felt like I had zero strength.
Snap: It used to be a “women only” fitness gym that closed down years ago. Its a temporary spot that we moved some equipment into while construction is being completed on my friends new gym…couple more months. I think I’m going to miss the Red/Pink carpet and lavender walls. Oh well…its a free place to work out, can’t complain too much.

245x1 = First time I have ever pushed for a 1 rep. I think I could have got 255 if I hadn’t tried 245. Came up really slow but I got it…made me feel really good.
185x5,5,5,5,5 = Got five reps out of all sets…last week only hit 5 reps on two sets. I didn’t video tonight but I’m pretty sure I didn’t have one shallow rep.

For the first time tonight I really enjoyed squatting. Don’t know why but I have been looking forward to tonights work out all weekend. I think it might be from watching joegood’s meet videos, they really impressed me. If theres a Pl bug going around I think I’ve caught it!

Face Pull:
90x 8,8,8,8 - first time doing these and not sure on form. setting up at the seated row was awkward. Next time will use high cable pully and do them standing

Ohhhh the dreaded deadlift. I’m really trying to put what I read and see in here into practice. tonight is the first time I’ve videoed DL so now i have something to critique.
Front Squat:

135x8,8,8 = First time i’ve done these and couldn’t get my wrists into the right postion so I used two towels to wrap around the bar and grip. Left me feeling like I had just finished sprints.
