No, Rogan. No, it won’t.
Funny guy, but he should stick to talking about omoplatas and spinning Anaconda chokes over drug legislation.

This is from the last paragraph of the study that you referred to earlier. Seems that you’re missing the point entirely. It MAY not cause damage to the brains neurons, but it is still clearly a dangerous drug. And for those of you out there who have actually done Ecstasy, you know that many times there are other drugs cut into the pills as well, specifically cheap methamphetamine, which DOES cause neurotoxicity in the brain. So MAYBE the actual chemical known as MDMA doesn’t cause a specific type of brain damage, but Ecstasy use can still very well lead to brain damage due to the possible presence of other drugs in it. And it should be noted that the study referred to below does NOT conclusively prove anything either way.
“So does this mean that ecstasy really is the risk-free, hangover-free, miracle drug that lets young ravers and gamers party all weekend without having to pay the price? Says Halpern, â??No. Ecstasy consumption is dangerous: illegally-made pills can contain harmful contaminants, there are no warning labels, there is no medical supervision, and in rare cases people are physically harmed and even die from overdosing. It is important for drug-abuse information to be accurate, and we hope our report will help upgrade public health messages. But while we found no ominous, concerning risks to cognitive performance, that is quite different from concluding that ecstasy use is â??risk-freeâ??.”
It should FURTHER be noted that the study I referred to (from “Addiction Journal”) is the ONLY study that has raised the POSSIBILITY that MDMA use does not cause neurotoxicity and that the study was only conducted on 52 people. The point is that the evidence that MDMA does not cause brain damage is just as dubious as studies that show it does cause brain damage.
MDMA is okay, but it’s kind of gay. I would only roll if I was with chicks in the future. Waaaay too much feeling-sharing and “bonding” unless you’re in a club or something.
But I’m naturally one who goes for downers before uppers.

There have been similar findings for marijuana. What they fail to mention in either study are the cancers they cause vs the cancerous cells they weaken.
Some hardcore ecstacy kicking about Glasgow right now. £10 a pill whereas you could get about 4 for that price around 4 years ago.
One of these and your chewing the carpet all night.
In saying that I am well too old for that shiznit.

Actually, there are small studies being conducted on using MDMA to treat PTSD. Technically, it is already being described albeit in a research context.
I would like to see this type of therapy legitimized.

I’ll never touch that shit. Anything that makes you want to be friends with everyone is dangerous.

Right. And bring drunk and start fights with other people is perfectly safe.

I think I am belligerent enough for that not to be a problem.

I’m talking about MDMA not a pill you buy from a stranger.
please don’t call it dangerous, wrestling alligators is dangerous, taking MDMA one or 2 times a month won’t hurt you.

I agree, the “i love you man” isn’t cool hahahahha
If MDMA is dangerous what is alcohol and cigarettes?
LSD is more fun.

Not brain destroying?
Causing only reparable damage to organs that are kind of used to it?
Holy shit. Meni REALLY cares about MDMA… Maybe even passionately.
I win!

I agree cigarettes are pretty gross, I prefer cigars.
But wine, beer, and whiskey is the blessing of God. ![]()
