Here’s my question though, why McDonals?
Is Burger King, Wendy’s, Or any other fast food place using better meat? I’m serious because I like using fast food when I’m bulking. It’s cheap and it works to help me meet the surplus of calories I need. Otherwises it’s damn near impossible to hit 8,000 calories a day.
Burger King’s burgers taste like real beef. Mc Donald’s burgers have always tasted different. The rumor when I was a kid was that it was horse meat. It is too pliable to be anywhere above 60% real beef. I am not going to pretend like I never eat there though. The lesson should be moderation or simply find a place you like better.

I’m sure the US burgers are similar spec, half way down this link (although the whole PDF gives a lot of info) and start reading from 100% beef, it explains where the meat comes from and a bit more about it.

I remember the boxes saying 100% beef, from Brazil. Probably slash-and-burn on the Amazon rainforest, since it’s cheaper to trash an ecological treasure and suck the rich soil dry. That was in 1996.

YOU EAT 8000 CALORIES PER DAY? (eyes bulging)
I remember, I used to get an occasional craving for a Quarter-Pounder - I’d eat my ‘meal’, and about 45 minutes later, I’d feel like someone kicked me right in the fucking stomach.
Fast Burgers and Chicken are just not tasty. I go for the breakfast burritos about once a year, but I don’t understand how people can eat that stuff every day (or even once a month).
I’ve been there for a week or so when I’m bulking. BTW, X while we’re talking about it. WHat’s your opinion on shit food like that when you’re bulking. Moderation as is only 1 pig out session a day? Only 3 times a week? Just for a month whenever you feel like it?

Thats not suprising, we all knew it was bad for us BUT the most frightening part of the article is this quote…
“The FDA began mandating that packaged foods companies report trans fat levels last month, but the fast-food industry is not under similar requirements.”
This just further proves how corrupt and inept the FDA is. If they really gave a shit about the people NO COMPANY/INDUSTRY would be exempt from this.
Pretty interesting stuff to see in an article after reading Kevin Trudeau’s book.

Yeah,I read Kevin Trudeau’s book too.I think it’s great. Some people on here make fun of it,but the book is full of actual facts.I think it’s a great book;pretty interesting too.

The sad thing is that most people don’t understand the trans fat issue.
They know they are bad, but they figure that they are just like any other macronutrient.
What they don’t realize is that they are man-made land-mines.
same people that think reese’s are better for you because it has peanut butter in it.
Lol.This is so true.My fat friend thinks trans fat is just like any other macronutrient. He’s like,“So,it’s just another kinda fat.” He then ends his “poor me I’m fat because I was born fat” speech with the most common phrase of all amongst obese people: " It’s not like one is going to kill me."
I always thought it was interesting how when you opened a box of meat patties or fries, they appeared to be frozen, but in reality they weren’t cold at all. They were in some nasty freeze-dried suspended animation that would magically disappear when placed in boiling grease. And even more interesting, I used to eat that stuff all the time while I worked there, even after seeing where it came from.

YOU DON’T!???!!!??
(eyes fell out)
I don’t think that I’ve ever eaten 8000 calories in one day.
I remember being on a bulking diet and taking in between 4000 and 5000, but that was it.
ok not sure if Supersize Me was 100% true, but it turned me off of fast food big time. That guys body was shot after a month and the doctors said he couldnt take another. Im gonna make an educated guess that if you compare someone who eats just (or mostly) McDonalds to someone who smokes a pack a day, the smoker would outlive the fast food eater by years. Not like either is doing you any good though.
I dont understand why the government freaks out about a little second hand smoke in a bar or something like that when the whole country has blood pressure/heart/obesity problems from fast food. (ok maybe not the only reason but a very big piece of the puzzle)

McDonald’s is not my favorite place to eat. There is only so much grease I can take. I usually eat at Burger King and I can usually talk them into draining the grease off of the patties on paper towels before they put it on the bun. I am pretty good at talking to people so this isn’t usually a problem unless it is crowded at some place I have never been before. What you eat is based on your metabolism and the results you are getting. If you are expecting me to give a guideline as far as how many times you can eat “fast food” you simply won’t be getting one. Too many people on this board only think in extremes. Certain foods are either all bad or all good and that is as far as they can process mental images.
Yeah yeah X, as individuals differ so will results. I was asking you though brotha? You can pm me if you want LOL, I’m just breaking your balls there. Seriously though I’d like to know.

This reminds me of when they came out with new chicken nuggets. They were like “Now made with REAL chicken” and I was thinking WTF WERE THEY EATING BEFORE?!?!?!
