McCain/Obama Debate III: 10/15/2008

He needs to call for heads to roll over the mortgage crisis. McCain needs to name names and force obama to do the same.

I care more about health care and spending plans than whose feelings are hurt by campaign ads. Lets get the show on the road again people

To most people, what they are saying might as well be jibberish. What they are going to see is Joe Cool .vs the agitated old man.
My point exactly

You weren’t actually expecting anything of substance. Were you?

Sarah Palin’s a reformer! lol.

I’m glad I made popcorn.

hey, good idea. off to the microwave. be back in 3 minutes.

I’m actually really liking that Bob Schieffer is asking specific and direct questions. No more lobbing up softballs and seeing who can dodge fastest.

Yeah but neither will actually answer the fuckin question directly.

Pricks.

This debate is nothing new thus far, feels like I’m watching a rerun of the first and second debate.
I would respond, but your avatar has me a bit distracted.

McCain sure never misses an opportunity to criticize Obama. Right or wrong, I don’t believe this will play well for him.

This fucking joe the plumber shit is killing me

So if he correctly critizes Obama, you think this is a bad thing? This having the meaning that even if Obama is wrong on a topic, and McCain calls him out, you think it will still be bad for McCain?

Senator Government

ROTFL.

Healthcare -

Who get’s the federal medical insurance contract that we all buy into under Obama’s plan? I haliburton in the insurance business? Can you imagine the lobbying for that contract?

In 2003,
Obama stated, “I happen to be a proponent of
a single-payer, universal health care plan.” At a
town hall meeting in August 2008, Obama
responded to a question about the single-payer
concept, “If I were designing a system from
scratch, I would probably go ahead with a single-
payer system.” He then hinted that, once
implemented, his reform plan could take Krugman
and like-minded supporters where they
ultimately want to go: “my attitude is let’s build
up the system we got . . . [and] we may . . . over
time . . . decide that there are other ways for us
to provide care more effectively”

If he says it costs 12k a year for health insurance…

where is the REST of the 12k a year for health insurance coming from that all those people will get to use??

Did I say that? It was an observation. I said “Right or wrong…”. It wasn’t commentary on whether it was called for or not.

I just don’t think the electorate is going to like it. Could be wrong. We’ll see…
