Masculine Excellence Requires Discipline

I took like 2 weeks off. Was feeling burnt out as all hell. No motivation, dedication, drive, energy… you get the picture. Stayed on diet the first week, reverse dieted second week.

I couldn’t understand why my motivation was in the shitter. Not just for the gym - but for everything.
Then i spoke with an old friend who works 2 full time jobs and never misses a day.
I asked him how he does it.

“I feel better when my plate is full” he said.

… well if that doesn’t sound familiar.
No school, no debt, no marriage problems, no identity crisis… my plate has been too empty to want to eat.

So I fixed that.
New program.
New diet.
New classes.
New goals.
New wife (joking).

New program (pull, push, legs, off, push, pull, off, repeat).
Similar to my last one, but different. I’m rehabbing my knees and i care a lot more about upper body mass than legs… my quads are juicy enough as is. Extra ham and glute work.

New Diet Carb Cycling
I just don’t have faith in sustained deficit diets. 1400cals daily deficit and losing 1lb per week? Something isnt right (i imagine this is T4>Reverse T3 conversion onset by the strict diet without breaks).

New Classes
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
My resume is making it to review at least, but I’m not getting callbacks… meaning I’m not competitive. This is the best cert for me to make my resume stand out.
I think i can get read up on it enough to pass in a few weeks.

All i need is the interview. I can crush it from there.

New Goals
Pretty much only hedonistic at this point, but i want to learn to ride a motorcycle. Meaning I’ll need to buy a motorcycle too.
Save up ~3k and buy one.

Yesterday: legs
Today: arms and shoulders (off program)
