Marzouk Out

I think GAL and SAMA should be removed. That’s just my opinion. Keep the logs and training forums and kill the rest of the dumb shit.

If there were no nonlifting forums this site would have less traffic and be more serious. How would it not? The only things being discussed would be training and diet. If you want pictures of ass you can use google. There are millions of all kind. There are also plenty of other random and political clusterfucks out there too. So why even bother with it here?

There’s a lot wrong with the structure of this site id say though. The TCell and BOI are ones that glare.

Why take the varsity guys in the film room and let the jv bump into each other all practice long?

I don’t see the forums getting better until there are only logs and training related subforums… that should be obvious.

that won’t happen though.

The only forums I have visible are GAL,all other logs, and the bb forum now. Gal is being phased out next.

This is as real as it can get regarding forum bullshit. And that’s coming from a dude who has. Basically lived in the gal forum since joining the site. Id not for this section I would have contributed more early on or left completely.

And yea, you’ll get mad about your precious groups being attacked. But,you cant go against what I said. Think about what the bb forum would look like if those groups were put into a general bb forum. And as of late there are just as many arguments in tcell as anywhere else. Even further the tcell dudes are cuasing the problems everywhere else in the site too.

Its all fucked up.

Like I said though none of these changes will happen. Biotest makes money off the traffic and ego won’t let anyone disband the tcell or boi.

Sooooooooooooo we will continue to have this shit goinzon.

That’s really good…and I do hope that works for you.

But next time you get the chance, ask the random huge guy you see who looks like they need to win a bodybuilding contest if he listened to other guys who got big…or if he ignored all of them and only focused on “accredited trainers and professionals”.

My guess is you will rarely find one who thinks the same…because the type who really make that much progress absorb info from all sides.

If I want 20" arms, I go talk to the guy who built 20" arms…even if the “accredited trainer and professional” weighing 180lbs is sitting right next to me…unless he trained tons of people to build 20" arms.

you’re forgetting his second post wherein he basically said “if that’s the development you get from zerchers no thanks” (I’m paraphrasing but will be happy to get the actual quote) to a kid that just zerchered 400lbs (no easy feat). it was an unnecessary swipe and it had absolutely no merit. He later apologized - about 13 pages later.
I am pretty sure he just wrote that he read ALL pages of that thread.

I am also wondering how you will now avoid any off color comments about anyone since something like me noticing someone else’s development is so bad.

You see, I did apologize…but here you are…bringing it back up…as if it matters in the first place.

So, we can count on ZERO snide remarks or insults from you to anyone else on the board from here on out…right?
You’re crying foul, as if you’re oblivious to WHY people react as they do. The difference between you and I is that I know why I sometimes get the reaction I do. You however, seem to mystified, or even worse, think people are “intimidated” (lol) or jealous of you in some fashion, when in fact, they just don’t like the tone of your posts.

As for me, I’m going to do what I do, when I do it…but you can bet there won’t be a “why is everyone always pickin on me” post from me in reply.

As for “bringing up” your remark in the other thread, it was entirely relevant, because you’re here pretending you were opposed in that thread without just cause. It took you 13 or more pages to acknowledge the foul. And it’s not the first time you’ve hit a foul to that section of the stadium, exact row, bleacher and seat. You’re kinda like Babe Ruth in that regard.
What is retarded is grown men acting like they are responding like this because of how “rude” I am…on a site called “testosterone”.

Please, go find these RUDE posts that are so atrocious that they upset the entire forum.

And then tell me how Bonez can have the exact same tone in his posts and NO ONE ever makes a thread about it.

Hey, if you want to pretend you all are doing this as some moral high ground or that my posts are so disruptive, so be it.

However, I am pretty sure most people are starting to see the real deal here.

To everyone else mature enough to not act like this, I’ll be in the bodybuilding forum (or anywhere else on the site I please)…making progress.

Everyone else can stay with the crowd who seems to think my posts are too “rude, crude and socially unacceptable” to be allowed any longer without turning every thread into shit.

Peace, guys. Have fun acting like this.
This will be my last reply, because no matter how reasoned my response, you’ll argue for 14 pages (and I will too, to be fair).

You have probably 100s of posts where your TONE grates on people (I’m guilty of the same, lest you think I’m one of those adults attacking poor little old you). So please, do not send us on some errand to find what we both know is there in abundance. No matter what the site is called, the response to you (and I sometimes), is what it is.

No one said your postings are “atrocious” - but you probably would be disappointed if I passed on pointing out you just built the first limb of your strawman.

No two posts have the exact same “tone”, because people, their histories and their likability are not identical. I barely know about Bonez, but I know about you. Like it or not, you’re very divisive in your postings and you love to rant about those “making progress” and those that are not - in other words, the “haves” and the “have nots”. Well, of course you’re going to piss off the “have nots” and you have managed to piss off a good many “haves” as well - because some of us “haves” have a bit more humility about it than you. When I tell some dickhead I can good morning what he can squat - I’m purposefully attacking just HIM. When you make your comments, they are broad and sweeping and catch more than one fish in the net. Oh, and as far as I know, Bonez is white and you’re black and you KNOW that it’s because you black /SARCASM (I think you believe that somewhere in your head by the way).

There is no moral high ground here. And your posts aren’t “disruptive” - no one claimed any such thing and hence, we have another limb in your strawman.

No, more people here ARE seeing the real deal and have been for quite some time - they are calling YOU in YOUR bullshit. Believe me, you’ve gotten a lot of leeway around here over the years because you’re the big guy on a site filled with people that want to be big. But your social currency is almost bankrupt as evidenced by the replies your elicit nowadays.

LOL @ anyone that doesn’t agree with you not being “mature”. There are plenty of people here that think you’re an unmitigated asshole. They think the same of me too. You think they’re just being “immature” and I know I’ve given some people reason to think that time to time. It’s called self-awareness and apparently you lack it. Also, you made another of your grating references to “progress” - as if you’re the only one here making progress. If you disagree with X, you’re immature and probably not making progress.

You quoted “too rude, crude and socially unacceptable” - I don’t think anyone made any such characterization - hello strawman! Oh, and “stay with the crowd” - another naturally (to you) divisive utterance. It’s “us” against “them”. Big v. small. Support me v. disagree with me.

The thing you don’t get is that I could go to the PL forum and give great advice in 9 threads, but if every 10th I dismiss someone that’s disagreeing with me by pointing out he’s not as strong as I am or he’s not making progress, most of the goodwill from the prior 9 threads evaporates. You’re THAT guy.

And really X, you’ve gotten “big” and that’s it. You haven’t won the O, you haven’t won a regional contest, you haven’t won a local contest, and you haven’t even competed. You’ve made “progress”, according to YOUR stated goals and I believe everyone (including me) has acknowledged your progress. But 100s of other guys here too have made “progress” according to THEIR goals. Yet you dismiss them with a waive of your key stroke as if the only worthy goal is to share your goals. Again, a lesson in self-awareness is in order here.

This is NOT strictly a BB site, and if it were, we’d have more members here pointing out that you haven’t even competed. This is a site that has always included strength athletes and those that just want to “look good nekkid” and has now blossomed into a site with many women and other interests (like MMA and such). 90% of the people here will never be North of 225 lean so when you slip into your inevitable size snobbery, you potentially offend 90% of the members here. Awareness. Know your audience.

Now, was I “immature” or attacking you? I think I just wasted 5 minutes to be honest.

The guy that built 20" arms likely used steroids. No mystery there. And therefore, it doesn’t matter much to me how he trained. Or, is there a long list of natural 20" arms I’m unaware of?

The guy with the HUGE bench press likely has short arms and guys that excel at some of the other lifts have some innate leverage (or other physical) advantage (usually)

And so forth and so on.

Not in EVERY case, but outliers usually have some advantage, especially in an endeavor where literally “everything works” and often no two things work at the same time for two trainees.

So no, I think asking the guy with 20" arms how to get 20" arms is pretty irrelevant. It’s more relevant to find out if YOUR body might be able to get there and how, which requires INFORMATION - which is provided by good trainers, researchers AND the big guys at the gym alike.

Hear, hear!
No, that’s not how it works.

You know why? Its not really the essence of the culture. I’ve learned my training lessons from dudes in gyms that could barely read. They had no certs and were drop outs of various stages.

They were built and strong. They knew their shit. I see dudes on this site the same way. Id listen to Prof,CC,or Stu any day over a “professional.”

Not wanting to listen to someone because they have no credentials in training is ignorant.

Why does a cert matter? Shouldn’t the fact that waylander has shown a ridiculous lat spread mean he can show you how to get a similar one even if scaled down? You think ssc can tell you how to lose weight? From my limited knowledge of these dudes neither of them are pros at anything .

First, I was convinced you had me blocked so getting a response is surprising to me. Second, I do understand what you’re saying, hence why I venture into the “Powerlifting” sub forum to gather information as the posters in there have information that is relevant to my goals. If my goal was to get as big as possible (natural or not) I would certainly turn to you and other posters who have achieved what most on this forum and in gyms across the world never will.

As many others have posted, the sheer amount of bullshit that permeates from the forums here makes it enough of a hassle to seek out relevant information so it’s easier to just avoid it and rely on the articles. While I’m sure you scoff at the accomplishments of some of the authors on this site, the physiques and results they have built for themselves and their clients are more in line with what I’d like to accomplish over my lifetime. I guess in the end it comes down to goals and who you need to talk to.

I hope I’m coming off as concise and reasonable here as I’ve been finding out from some that most just have me pegged as the “vegan loser who only posts in the GAl” and really, I like to think I’m more than that.

I read that as

“If you’re interested in development its not a good idea. Your biceps are under enough stress already during the week. Why. Eisk a bicep tear on a move that does nothing to develop the bicep? I much prefer squats or legs pressing. I’m sure the guy is strong but in terms of hypertrophy he is not my ideal”

To me, he made a valid argument on the side of bodybuilding.

Hell, if I had some vendetta against you, I wouldn’t have provided my input on the stubborn abdominal fat in your diet thread in the T-Cell and I certainly wouldn’t have apologized for misquoting you and reframed my questions in the natural limits thread.

Wait…you have PROVEN that someone curling in excess of 85lbs every week per hand often more than once a week has no added significant risk from holding that much weight in the crook of their arm?

How did you prove this?

Most powerlifters don’t train biceps that often even if they do go heavy when they do…and most people on this web site are NOT curling in excess of 85lbs in each hand every week…so how was this PROVEN?

Several people here seem to be able to understand what I wrote. Why can’t you?

You made a comment in a public thread about zerchers being a biceps tear waiting to happen. But you thought that comment would be ignored by everyone else just because it was a reply to another post? What are you, Anthony Weiner? Obviously you don’t understand the way this works. If you make a false statement in a thread that can be seen by everyone else, then don’t be surprised when others flame you for it.

Did you say any of that in your original post? No. You simply said the exercise was a biceps tear waiting to happen. You added in a bunch of qualifiers after you got called out for it.
