Google!!! I guessed right though. I love learning all the international slang we have in these fourms.
Actual jigsaw. You can buy massage gun adaptor kits to fit one.
Woke at 254.6 lbs, looking pretty similar to yesterday. Shoulder still not as painful as before.
Mate you are a genius. I already have a jigsaw, now I only need a $30 attachment. Quality
That sounds freaking awesome!
Just looked, eBay has a kit with a shitload of various bits for only 30 bucks Simo
I don’t understand why any would get a massage gun when you can get an adaptor for a jigsaw. Unless you’d never need a jigsaw.
Todays training
3x10 bracing hip thrusts supersetted with 15 air squats
10x10 second bracing 90/90
Squat
8x479 lbs, Slingshots at six revolutions
AFSAP in one set is always the goal. Bracing was a bit iffy on a couple of reps but no harm done. Pretty sure it’s a rep PR. Left my right ear ringing for a bit.
Squat, first rep paused for five seconds
2x6x358 lbs
Wore my Bowtie for all squats to help my left shoulder. Seems to have worked.
Band good morning
1x55
Inverted row replacing seated row
4x10
Didn’t want to do lat pulldowns because I’m doing much less horizontal pulling these days.
An hour and a half
Mate, 217kg for 8 reps is freaking awesome!
Is that raw - Belt and wraps?
Ringing ears is no fun, mine have been ringing for years now, gets worse if I’m blocked up, drives me nuts sometimes!
Thanks, I’m pretty happy with it.
Always belt, wraps if I specify.
I get ringing ears after particularly challenging sets.
Also, two months (give or take) into dieting and a month since I last took photos, so it’s fatsique time. I think I might be able to see a couple of small changes, but nothing significant yet. I ate about 10 minutes before taking these, so realistically this is as bloated as I’m going to look.
That squatting Mark, 217 kg is a helluva lot of iron on the back.
I might start eating to get to 120 kg.
Can’t hurt to try. Reckon at 90 kg you’d be good for around 160 at least, deadlift 200. Bench around 110-120.
Near enough five plates for eight reps is fucking awesome.
I’m definitely not upset
I was at 90 kg 1½ year ago, I wasn’t near those weights.
I’ll give it another shot, but taking it easy I’ll give myself 20 month to do it. January 2022 90 kg bw, 1, 2, 3 plates for reps and a 200 kg dl. I said it here and not in my log, because I think it’s a lost course.
Ur too massive for your head. Don’t skip head day
Bullshit. You got this. You’re old enough and wise enough to make a sensible plan and follow it. I’ve bookmarked this to hold you to it
@mortdk I’ll say this straight because I got a lot of respect for you: you’ve got it in you, but you’ll have to change some stuff. Not so much running. More food. Less of a metcon way to train, drop the supersets.
You train 531, somerthing like 5s Pro with periodisation bible assistance. Give yourself 90 minutes per session. Aim to gain .25 to .5 kilo a week. You do some moderate conditioning once a week. Days off training you do air squats, pull aparts, ab work.
What you’ve got to figure out is if doing this, training and eating like this for 20 months is worth it for you.
Whichever you pick, I’ll be in your corner. End of the day it’s just lifting weights.
Firstly great squatting Mark.
Secondly @mortdk you deff have those numbers in you. 20 months ago you and I weren’t that different in terms of numbers. You are as consistent and hard working as me, maybe more. With the right training and some food you can hit those numbers.
Nah, almost right. Was terrible when I was smaller, melon on toothpick shit.
