MarkKO's Training Log

Quality time Mark, it’s fun to workout with the little ones.

And it was a success, he wanted to join again.
Btw did he ask where you were hiding your muscles

On the workout: another quality session, nice row man.
How’s the head these days, totally gone or?

Very impressive rows. Also sounds like some real good quality time with the little one.

Keep taking him to the gym, force-feed him afterwards and then you can take the piss out of him and see how he likes it!

Great session. You just made a great case that less traditional strength training is a great intro for kids.

Woke at 260.4 lbs, looking a little more bloated. Got 10 hours on the CPAP.

@dagill2 totally

@BOTSLAYER I hope he’ll want to. The more he can get exposed to the gym just to get to know it the better.

Woke at 260.1 lbs, looking similar to yesterday. Maybe a tad more bloated, maybe not. Got another 10 hours on the CPAP.

Oh, I know. I love doing Good Mornings and watching my quads pump out of the shorts. Also great couple of training sessions

Sunday conditioning

800 metre walk

11x30 metre sprints up 10 degrees and walk back

800 metre walk.

Sprints seemed faster, closer to 80 per cent but not harder.

Woke at 261.9 lbs, looking similar to yesterday (ie a little bloated). A bit over eight hours on the CPAP

Todays training

Circuit: 3 rounds of bracing hip thrusts, air squats and two sled pushes with shoulder distraction and then SuperD double band thing

10x10 seconds bracing 90/90

Squat
Worked up to
4x2x451 lbs, bare knee
7x451 lbs, wraps at six revolutions

Paused squat for two seconds in the hole
3x5x418 lbs

Fuck but these were HARD. I was properly concerned about getting the last rep on each set. Pressure was pretty intense, could feel it in my ears. Got my head pain going a little but nothing terrible

Back extensions
2x20

Inverted rows (with TRX)
25, 10 second rests - 4x5, 3, 2

All up an hour and 40 minutes

Those pause squats sound horrible. Good job geezer

Strong stuff mark. 2 seconds in the hole is rough

Despite liberal Dencorub and stretching neck didnt ease up much over the day.

Todays training

Short on time so warmup was a quick band work giant set followed by SuperD double band thing. This did the most for my neck so far today. Didnt fix it though.

Bench press
Worked up to
5x1x236 lbs
4x236 lbs
7, 5x236 lbs - 12 AFSAP

Greg pulled me up on lack of tension from heels to traps last week so I worked on that. I’ve been doing it fine, last week I got lazy for some reason.

Close grip floor press
8x198 lbs
6, 2x198 lbs - racked it on six because I’m not in the business of missing lifts. Fuck but these were hard.

Dips
2x6
1x10 (max set)

Supersetted with

Lat pulldowns
3x12x143 lbs

Supersetted to save time, not because Greg said so.

Rear delt flys
3x10x25 lbs

All up an hour.

How was the head on these. If you have any tips on keeping that tension then feel free to share them :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
