Woke at 241.8 lbs, looking similar to yesterday.
@mortdk thanks. Yes, they weren’t particularly hard. I think I had another one or two in there.

Thicc and jewwwwsey
Jealous of that Bench mate
Woke looking similar to yesterday, maybe even slightly less bloated. Scale batteries are low, so no weight.
Todays training

This is my most hated deadlift variation #teampanora

3x12x176 lbs
DB split squats
2x18x25 lbs - really Greg? Really? Stop drinking when you’re writing our programming
Lat pulldowns
4x10x132 lbs - remembered to pull back and squeeze
All up an hour and 30 minutes
Woke at 242.2 lbs, maybe a little more bloated than yesterday but not by much. Feeling worked the fuck over. Yesterday was one of the hardest sessions I’ve done in a while.
It looks almost like it’s easy for you, except maybe for the last one or two reps.
You’re truly awesome and dedicated for this.
Respect Mark.
The weight isn’t heavy, no. How Greg makes us move it makes it feel like a tonne. That’s one of the aspects of his talent.
You’re very kind, but I’m just stubborn and determined.
Put a decent sized slice in my left index finger at work: I was brushing shavings off a panel and forgot I’d left my chisel behind my hand. Sharpened it yesterday too
took about 10 minutes to stop the bleeding and TBH it makes gripping anything with my left hand a bit difficult. Nothing major, around 10 mm long and anywhere between two and four mm deep but on a fingertip it’s awkward.

1xmax - 7, haven’t hit a good set of these in a while but TBH I’m not sure if it’s the wider handles at Ultra; that I’ve done them after other back work; or I’m just heavier. Could be a combination, because that 3x6 I hit a couple of weeks back was ok by my syandards
Pull-ups. Still love 'em. Still not great at them. Still heavier than before (pretty much smack bang on 110 kg/242 lbsf #teampanora

Standing Arnold press
3x10x33 lbs - fuck I hate these. The inward rotation is so fucking awkward
Sit-ups (on the GHR)
4x25
All up an hour and 35 minutes. Took my time today.
I feel like arnie is secretly trolling us all with the Arnold press. It’s always felt and looked so weird
I’m with you on that - I think it’s dumb. I can’t see the benefit of it over a regular shoulder press.
It feels different though. Maybe the whole rotation is just a way to increase TUT?
I think the first part of the arnold mimics the lateral raise at some point, so it’s kind of a two in one… My shoulders hate them
Woke at 240.7 lbs, significantly less bloated. That’s what a good sleep will do.
Woke at 242.2 lbs, no bloating as far as I can tell. Another long and decent sleep.
Woke at 243.5 lbs, some bloating courtesy of last night’s burger and fries dinner. Nothing extreme though.
Damn that sucks. Sounds like your tool works good though, hah.
A few weeks ago, I was trimming my silky terriers in the tub when I clipped my finger with the scissors. Deep gash on the top of my index finger. Was surprised how long it took to stop bleeding, 10 mins or so like you. Initial reaction was “ffffffffUuUuuUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuUUuU”.
The craziest gash I ever had was from a head-to-head collision in basketball. That needed 11 stitches, right on top of my temple. I remember us both going for a loose ball, the collision, then going over to see if the guy was alright, then everyone just looking at me “all shocked”, then felt fluid rushing down my face, so I leaned over and a flood of blood poured out onto the court, just non-stop gushing. Some random dude gave me his shirt to help me clot it. Shirt was fully soaked in blood by the time the medics came over. That was so crazy. lmao.
Head wounds fucking piss out huh? Even nicking my head when shaving looks dramatic.
Todays training
Bodyweight reverse hypers, air squats, planks
Squat, walked out
5xbar - can actually set up comfortably enough on a standard bar as long as I can get my hands to the sleeves
5x143 lbs - standard bar again
3x247 lbs - onto the squat bar
2x308 lbs
6x2x357 lbs with five second rests - belted, probably should have gone beltless because I got this done in 50 seconds and it wasn’t particularly hard at all. Also helps not having worked all day
Wide stance squat (feet out two inches each)
3x3x357 lbs
Air squats
50 total reps - 50
Brace and hold
3x30 seconds - I think we were meant to do 30 seconds…
Lat pulldowns
10x132 lbs
10x143 lbs
2x10x154 lbs
45 degree back raises
3x15 at bodyweight
All up an hour and 20 minutes
Then the blood gets in your paint… And fucking everywhere
