When you train so hard that you’re soul doesn’t want to be in your body anymore, so you die.

Woke at 225.7 lbs, bloat gone.

@lava2007 he was breathing. We checked.

@yogi1 I checked, it’s pretty much bang on 25 lbs since the start of the year (92 to 102 kg)

Late to the party, I think 531 works extremely well for the disciplined people. Especially 5s pro 5x5.
However about 1% of people stick to that, and hence get sub par results. I am guilty of this.
When I stuck to beyond 1.1 to 1.4 I had the single greatest addition to my total in one program.
I then got training add. True Max led to true TM at 85%, no program changes led to but PRs

But may last year 181 lbs to now 225 pounds - 44 pounds (20 kg)

No failing here.

Still on night shifts. Oddly not feeling that fucked.

Today’s training

45 degree back raises, GHR sit-ups and box jumps

DL, DL bar - decided to start using it in case there’s adjustment like with bench
3xplate
3x2 plates
1x3 plates - belt on
4x2x396 lbs
10x396 lbs - no shortage of wind, bar just suddenly slowed down

Greg’s cues finally got me pulling the slack out of the bar and for the first time the DL bar feels worlds easier than the stiff. Just need to remember to pull the slack out before anything else.

Dead stop DL - stand up and reset between each rep
2x5x357 lbs

DB rows
3x10x125 lbs - probably could have gone with 130s

Leg press
3x10x704 lbs (eight plates each side) - this was a surprise. I started at four plates a side and kept going until it felt like I actually had to work. First time less than stupid reps on the leg press got me a nice quad pump. Then I remembered @countrygirl2016 complaining that I hadn’t posted leg photos

All up done in an hour and 20 minutes

Woke at 228.4 lbs, but I’m seriously hesitant to call it a waking weight because it’s after about two hours sleep and two full meals into the day. Last night shift tonight so no weigh in tomorrow as I won’t be sleeping until night time.

When do you get a body comp assessment done again? I’m very curious to see how much muscle you have gained with this calculated approach. I’m thinking it will be pretty impressive cause you’re looking thick!

Quads are looking beefy mate, great consistency yielding great results as always

@The_Myth I keep forgetting to book one, although I’m curious just as you are.

Hopefully most of them @mortdk. I don’t know, maybe 60 per cent? That’d do me.

Your time in the gym starts to crawl back up again

Why?
Looked like a fine workout

I jinxed myself. I felt like absolute dogshit, I fell asleep a bunch at work was a zombie by the time I got home. I got some good pre trainer but I was still lagging a bit, plus I chatted to and helped my buddy Alex a bit.
