MarkKO's Training Log

Try to get the bar behind your collarbones, that way you will be a lot more stable and your shoulders won’t limit you as much

I fight the same urge to lean into a front squat. Heeled shoes have helped me trust a sit back. I have to actively think about staying upright and pressing the bar into my throat (tip from alpha).

Woke at 222.2 lbs, looking about the same. Maybe a little bloated around lower ab, but nothing really noticeable.

Birthday party for a friend of munchkin’s. Good opportunity for extra food. Also, found a use for me in the absence of a ladder.

Ha ha that’s one benefit of being made of concrete. Nice one mark. Hope the party was great and munchkin had a ball.

Woke at 223.5 lbs, lower ab visibly bloated. I’m putting it down to salt more than anything. Back to weekday eating, so I expect things to stop back to the 220-1 mark soon.

@Yogi1 I see what you did there. I limited myself to not mentioning that he was pretty much the same as a warmup weight.

So you haven’t found anyone over 300lbs willing to get on your shoulders yet? Lol

Figured I’d kick this off because I haven’t done it for a while and I’d rather know sooner than later if the numbers tell a nasty story. I’ll update for end of April in three days.

Also, the numbers don’t tell a nasty story. I’m on with the weekly average rate of gain. I don’t want it going higher than it is, but a a pound and a quarter a week is just at the high end of sustainable.
