Not to rain on the cereal parade, and I am by no means the gate keeper, but all the nutritionists are pretty united in their disdain for cereal.
FWIW, Kashi Go Lean is supposed to be pretty healthy.
Sugar is evil.
But, dark chocolate is a super food.
I have yet to find an easier and more enjoyable way of getting a bunch of carbs in without much else.
What about ice cream? Because it’s fit my macros the last two nights. ![]()

My protein powder flavor is literally Vanilla Ice Cream. I could probably sprinkle it on top…

This may shock some of you, but I don’t really like ice cream that much.
I just add protein powder to natural Greek yogurt and stir it in to make chocolate (or whatever flavour protein you use) pudding. Yummy
For extras Oatmeal beats everything, with milk and raisins that’s great.

I’m right there with you Mark. I prefer a thick proatmeal made with some casein.
I’d take halo top over “full-octane” ice cream any day.
Also, did some kb halos with the 17 lbs kb we have at home. Some last night, some this morning. My left shoulder has been cranky for a few weeks in certain positions (luckily none of them I need to lift), immediately felt better. I’ll be doing these regularly now.
Same. lol. Wonder if @MarkKO likes milkshakes more than cups/scoops of ice cream tho? 8|
Had two ice cream shakes in the last 4 days. bliss.
Cereal tends to make me feel pretty sluggish. I’ve come to really love those huge shredded wheat (haven’t had them in months tho). 2-4 of those with honey all over them, in almond milk = solid.
My goto pre-run meal is now: gluten free (apparently) “flax” oatmeal with a ton of pink salt & a ton of honey, with a huge glass of water or bottle of “electrolyte water”. That seems to do the trick.
Need to find these now.
